Based on the name change I'm wondering if she actually got in under another girl's application, due to her own application being rejected or some other circumstance for the nun to try and do something underhanded.

Thus, maybe the villainess label is from another girl's answers

Might be a bureaucratic mix-up? Ooooh, then the question would be which sociable girl is the hidden villainess, and did she switch the forms herself.

Now what the fUhck could she have put on her questionnaire to get assigned the role "Villainess" xD?

That "Huh?!" was absolutely the perfect reaction to this. :D

New friend has the "Tsundere" role?

My guess is that the school switched their application forms or something and the new friend will get the "socialite" or whatever role instead of the villainess role they were supposed to have, making life difficult for both of them and ultimately pushing them towards each other.

I thought the same thing.

I don't think she is given the wrong role.
She is a good, soft-hearted girl, so they might think villainess role will toughen her up.

By the way, what's the deal with the nun giving Hanako a new name to send her off? It's not remarked on at all, what am I missing here?

I'm guessing this is related to the old Catholic tradition where someone is given a new "christian" name upon joining the church to signify being "born again" as a new creation under Jesus

This week is either gonna span multiple chapters, or it's gonna go very quickly, only two options!

I really like this art and what a twist. Seems like from the start as well she will need a "lover" which means as a villainess someone will be tasked to steal them lol.

Old you say, or current!? This would be about the age for Confirmation, but that's an oddly particular Catholic sacrament to go for. Could be, though

Oh! This makes much more sense if you interpret it that way.

But I have no no no idea, how on earth did you all manage to read the chapter and concludes that "she has to find a lover" for her villainess role?
Anyone has a clue? I don't,,

Mh. Kinda like a character introduction info dump ^^;

... also turns out everyone has fake names, basically.

Maybe the nun intercepted the letter and filled in villainous answers for shits and giggles.

Yeah, 'femme fatale' is definitely the most accurate term for the concept the story is going for

I wasn’t sure where this was going based on the first chapter, but I’m kinda into it now. “Sweet, innocent girl accidentally seduces her classmates and gets a harem” sounds fun.

Poor Hanako, this place doesn't appreciate a femme fatale.
She probably wrote friends when she clearly what she wanted was roommates...

I'm hoping Takizawa has the "Loner" or "Contrarian" type role or something like that, how best to accomplish that role other than to stick by our vilified femme fatale.

Small typo on ch02 page 14 last panel:
Though she glaring at me -> Though she was glaring at me

I feel like I'm missing something here. Is her role supposed to be more like "Casanova" or "Player"? "Scoundrel" maybe?

Yeah. Femme fatale seems more fitting than villainess

Haven't you guys read Villainess manhwa and manga? They can be incredibly manipulative and charismatic, they can be socialites and seduce everyone around them. Villaianesses can be versatile... And do not forget, the Villain or Hero, in the eye of the beholder, what does it define it?
