The school is not giving you the role you want, but the role you need. That's all.

That's an idea, but does Hanako (or anyone) "need" to be a seductress?

This is a series about an all girls school being uploaded to dynasty, so clearly.

Though more seriously, having people who can act outside established social dynamics and norms actually is helpful, as otherwise people can become shackled by them or fail to understand how they're limiting their conception of what's possible.

This doesn't mean being a seductress per se (and I think her role is more general than that), but some stereotypical traits of one could be positive in some situations with some people.

Even licensed psychotherapists generally require a patient's consent for outstanding treatment methodologies, and I doubt the school is staffed entirely by doctors (though maybe that's a reveal later who knows). They'll also periodically check in to ensure the treatment is actually providing benefit. There's no chance whoever is creating these assignments could know what every one of these students "needs" unless the author wants them to for plot's sake.

I mean, imagine Nanase after receiving this specifically adversarial assignment just doesn't complete it and is failed out. That's a huge new trauma tying right into old trauma for her to carry. It's an awful strategy as far as helping kids grow is concerned.
