Shall I be so lucky!! I'd love to watch this shitshow in anime version.
The order of uploading has me a bit confused. It went from 9 to 16 and 17 and now they uploaded 10? And there's even a extra 15,5 somewhere in the middle?
Is this a conscious choice by the uploaders, or did they hit a snag? Am I missing something?
I've been redoing the chapters from 7 and up because the machine translated version on mangadex is an unmentionable mess of mistranslations and bad English. As I said previously, I like the series a lot and it pained me to see it butchered like that.
As for the order, since chapters 7 to 16 had been done by that "group" and they planned on continuing, I put out 16 and 17 as a statement to discourage them, but in the meantime, I'm still catching up.
Everything will be filled up in due time.
18 should be out in a few days.
thnx for your hard work translating them properly. I prefer this over that other translation. they may have their reason but still, it's a damn headache reading the broken words that don't match up. keep it up!

Amen!
But I kinda doubt that they will take to tv something so sexual and erotic as this manga.
I love this manga, it's fucking great

After finding out Looking Up to Magical Girls is getting an anime adaptation, I believe anything can get an anime now lmao

Where to start? There are already some really fucked up manga that were adapted as anime. Honestly, this story would look pretty regular next to Redo Healer or something gross like that.
There's even a very explicit yuri-service anime out there, Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid. I guess the upcoming Looking Up to Magical Girls will go somewhat in that group.
Only difference is that if this was to be adapted, it would at least treat sex and same-sex attraction with some respect (which is why I found ch. 17 off-putting), and not be just focused on revenge rape and torture, or just having boring, badly set up fanservice scene after another.

Redo Of Healer ain't gross!
Smut animated series, though, are few and far in between.
But the somewhat recent trend of them getting adapted more does bring light to more of these goodies getting their well deserved screentime.
This one, though, would fit into the same slot as three other teen smut series that have been adapted, all with their complex emotion filled drama.
I have only now realized that there was a newer chapter, and out of everything, what pops first into my mind is holy fucking power play. Beforehand I thought I had some sort of a read about Fuuka. but after this, I do not think I do anymore, and I have no fucking clue what her angle is and what she seeks to achieve. Only that her attachment to Yuni is sincere, that is the only certainty in my eyes.
I've been very critical of Nanase's in-universe actions or lack thereof, and I was far from feeling bad for her, in all honesty. But this made even me feel bad for her. Not necessarily that it is happening - in a way I do feel that these are consequences for how she's been up to that point, but the timing and the how, particularly Fuuka's demeaning attitude toward her and... uh... fucking making out with Yuni right in front of her and shit. That she still in the end could not understand what Yuni wants from her was a very bizarre cherry on a very bizarre cake.
So yeah, I have no clue at this point what the endgame is and why, but I cannot deny enjoying the ride.
Also... uh... I gotta admit that Fuuka making out with Yuni there was pretty fucking hot, so yeah...
First off, many thanks Kirin-Kun for the translation. Really appreciate your work.
Now, my wild guessing - I'm wondering if the author will go down the Natsume & Yuki route (wah, wah, my girlfriend cheated on me so I'll get her back by cheating on her)? After all, why have 1 toxic love triangle when you can have 2?
Redo Of Healer ain't gross!
How in the world

Seven Mortal Sins anyone? Just a straight up H-anime but censored as hell. Ayakashi Triangle also got censored too, even though it’s mostly fan service. There are definitely series out there that are more explicit than this. Oh, can’t forget Domestic Girlfriend, pretty certain that series had some not so safe scenes.
DomeKano is kind of just regular, bit raunchy soap opera, with an extra-stupid ending.
Problem with Japan are things like less than less than pointless censorship (it's even ran private business, and that business will butter up politicians to keep it that way), and attempts to always pretend relationships aren't often based on sexual intimacy first and other factors coming in play later. Leading to some weird stuff like "pure yuri", almost-but-not-quite homosexual "girlships" or Class S.
That's why DomeKano may seem out place, but it really is the contextual reality that is so twisted around it that it makes it stand out. Lot of that weirdness is also foreign import from a more puritan era, that Japan hasn't shaken off.

My point was more addressing the sexual and erotic nature of the show and that this wouldn’t be any worse than that show was or even on the same level. I mean it starts the episode 1 with them having sex. The difference would obviously be that it’s Yuri, but there’s been explicit Yuri shows before. In fact, it wouldn’t be hard to not show the full graphic scenes if that was an issue.
I just noticed something, when reading chapter 10 and 17 in parallel.
In 17, Fuuko takes the "blame" for the cheating, not mentioning that the one who initiated sex was Yuni. Just keeping on manipulating Yuni into making it "not her fault".
Also, in CH10, it insists visually on the book about the caterpillar fungus. You know, the fungus that invades a living organism, makes it a zombie, and eventually kills it from the inside to develop itself.
Ie, from the beginning, Fuuko's plan was to parasitize Yuni and Nanase's relationship and kill it from the inside.

I cheated on you because I love you, Nanase XD
hope that was a friendly "I love you", otherwise we'd be dangerously close to a good ending
I'm probabaly part of a minority here, but I feel more sympathy towarda Nanase here more than Yuni. Throughout this story, I sense very little communication between both parties. When Yuni gets upset that her girlfriend is unavailable, rather than confront and tell her about it, she post her frustrarions of social media and ended up luring what essentially is a stalker. Seriously, talk to the girlfriend/boyfriend/lover. Do not expect them to pick up visual ques that you are upset and expect them to figure it out or else they might pull a HUMAN thing and believe that things will work out gradually and they need to deal with other issues at hand. Give an ultimatum if necessary. Say "Hey, I'm upset that the club is taking priority over me and that your catering other peoples affection over me. If you truly care about me, we should work for a way where we can spend more time together without any intrusion. If not, they we should stop being together". No one should ever be in a position where they are expected to be mind reader. That's the kind of thing that make relationships 100× harder than it already is. Always, always, always Talk. You don't need to expose any deep dark secrets or anything, just express your true feelings and show that you want to make things work. Even if that person is constantly smothered by everyone else and you can't find an impromptu time to speak your mind, use alternative communication methods like calls and text, or better yet, make that opportunity by putting your foot down and pull them out of that crowd. Seriously all this heart ache could be resolved in less than 5 chapters if the depressed upset girl who constantly complains about her gf not spending time with her had just properly communicated to her gf instead of having an affair with her stalker.
Thank you man, your comment was a breath of fresh air.
It surprises me how much people are defending this toxic behavior by using these circu that could so easily be solved with actual f*cking communication. All your suggestions of what she could've done are great and even if they didn't work, the right thing to do would've been to break up before going and fucking someone else, betrayal is never the answer and I hate myself almost as much as that girl because I made the mistake of starting this manga and now I want to keep reading it even because I wish her poor gf could get a happy ending, getting away from that scum, but sadly I doubt that will happen since it's obvious who the main characters are
Well chapter 18 is out give it a read ^^

That was very attentive of you, and yes Fuuko is like a parasite eating away at them both while enjoying playing with Yuni and hurting Nanase.
You know I have no problem with Fuuko making her moves on yuni if she Truly loves her but the way shes going at it is just so unhealthy and toxic. I don't see them ever having a remotely wholesome relationship. One of the reason it really surprises me people rooting for her but hey she's charming and Handsome, one might be surprised with how much bs those people get away with.
Fuuko seems to be really angry at Nanase for taking yuni granted and neglecting her, prolly because Fuukos own love life is a mess.
Which IM would win? “I can’t see you—I have club” vs “Let’s have sex.”
I gotta say I'm incredibly happy with this chapter, too bad Nanase is injured or she might have thrown some fists.
Admittingly though now that the cheating is out and Nanase took it better than I expected the excitement is wearing off. I mean I don't know how you guys feel but since they all kinda suck (while Nanase is just naive) I don't feel much empathy anymore, even if Yuni now agrees to have sex with Fuuko again it's like been there done that.
Imo the author is giving Yuni and Fuuko barely any redeeming features making you not caring about them all that much. In this way no matter how things will end up you lacking empathy for the characters leads to low investment.
I hope things will pick up or it might get stale

Surely this manga is sort of a temptation theme. Like those telenovelas my grandma loves to watch during our siesta. So it'll probably get thirstier in every chapter.
Pretty disappointing how Yuni was not confronted or made to feel the consequences of her actions. But with this author I am not surprised. She loves the cheater. I hope Nanase moves on and stop wasting her time with the delusional trash that is Yuni.

The thing is it's mostly the reader's who love the cheaters. If you check her twitter, comments on Amazon etc japanese reader's love Fuuko and Yuni and their toxic relationship.
But don't worry the author doesn't lack common sense and knows too well Yuni is trash, in one of her tweets to a chapter she released on Twitter she even said that herself. So I might be wrong but it could go all ways.
So far I don't see a happy ending for Yuni,
unless she reconciles with Nanase and they start to communicate and having a relationship with mutual understanding, you know talking about their anxieties, needs etc..
