Like it does feel that the author initially wanted Mai to be endgame but as the series got more and more popular and the other girls more fleshed out, that yeah, she has a lot of chemistry with the other girls and it would be a shame to not explore that. Like she is very different with Nanao and Serina in terms of intensity

honestly, knowing how this series has basically turned every potential snag into a new friend like musical DBZ, most likely this is the start of getting Mitsuki an actual band that is her vibe and tone.

yeah, the translation is a little jarring in some spots but the overall plot and premise looks great.

probably would just be "want me to be your girlfriend?"/"I have no intention of having any kind of partner"
