The symbology of the Vega And Altair chapter shows them apart on separate islands, trying and failing to reach each other (Aya's broken ladder/bridge) and then them coming together via the Zebra and music.

Thus it can be implied that they have resolved their issues, but have left the details out of exactly how.

That was good. Cute and well deserving of the wholesome tag.

Sometimes I wonder if the author's only exposure to romance were the works of Itou Hachi.

Another thing that I really liked about this chapter is that we get to see Mao and Chizuru again.

Also does anyone else headcanon that vampires like ruruna have some sort of mosquito-like painkiller chemicals in their saliva to make it not hurt as much and that's why it feels good? Maybe even some healing compounds in there.

As far as vampire tropes go, in many works that don't have them as pure evil monsters they tend to have something along those lines. Anesthetic or outright euphoria inducing aspects of the bite either via saliva or a mystical part of it. Think the White Wolf Tabletop even had them able to immediately heal the punctures when they were done.

I think this may be based upon the behaviour of leeches who have an analgesic compound in their saliva, which is why you can get bitten by a leech and not feel it ... though I'm not an expert on leeches (that would be Dr Hoffman of Stuttgart owner of the largest leech farm in Europe ;D)

I really liked this chapter. I like the use of the three stages of drunk Aya in a non-comedic manner. Her exaggerated sadness (immediately jumping to "does she not love me anymore") seems realistic for a drunk person. Mistuki needs to stop being an idiot, of course. Avoiding even looking at her for this long because she felt awkward? Seriously.

Yeah, but let's not forget the fourth stage "clingy bug" is yet to come - if in this stage she gets clingy with Shu ,,, well either Mitsuki will either explode & act, or go into complete shut down.

Going on the trajectory so far, I'm going to guess it's shut down and we will get more chapters of the downwards spiral.

I'd forgotten about this one - many thanks to the Cyan Steam for bringing us these extras and reminding me of the series. Might just have to do a re-read.

Hopefully the darker parts will not get too dark and we will get lots of fluff - really loving the artwork

Just felt that it is worth mentioning that the bar has a corner set up for live music and there's a guitar (Mitsuki previously commented on how expensive looking it was) - got a feeling this is going to come into play here.

Don't you see the vision? Shu and Rinko are in the same room, they're going to help Aya and Mitsuki talk by bringing up something music-related and they're going to hit it off with each other in the process.

Yes. I can see this is going to get interesting as Narita is there as well - hopefully we are going to get Aya and Mitsuki back together, with the resolution to Mitsuki's musical impasse, and also Shu and Rinko hitting it off.
