Was rereading the chapter and a thought came to mind; Komichi is asking her mom if the coat looks okay as if she hadn’t worn it during winter before. Is the coat maybe a gift from a certain blonde classmate (gf) whose name starts with “E”?

Okay, a lot to digest here, might be easier to just make a list

• Post Shiyu Festival
• which means mom had seen the video and their performance and approves (no tension between mother and daughter)
• Komichi and Erika’s performance/video has made her an idol among the other girls, especially other queer girls (particularly one gathering strength to confess to her senpai)
• Komichi and Erika appear to be considered an established couple among the other girls
• Erika is MIA and Komichi misses her :(
• Neko doesn’t like the cold

As others have stated, it would seem that we are going to be going through a lengthy flashback. Hoping Komichi’s parents are included.

It’s cute that Umi’s brother knows and supports her in his own way. I half expected him to say something more, but he recognized that she didn’t want to say anything yet and went along with it.

Does Umi’s brother know or does he just like Shou himself?

EDIT: actually I reread this myself and I'm less sure, there is another scene with the brother I didn't remember at the start of it, when he does discover Umi's dating someone, so he could have conceivably connected the dots. And she's even denying a boyfriend in the newest one and the brother hears it! The pieces of the puzzle are all right in front of him.

EDIT EDIT: okay he even hears in ch11 it's "Shou-chan" and in the same chapter he sees his sister greeting her and calling her out by name. Can't imagine he doesn't suspect it.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: he even hears her inviting Shou out to the festival and later sees them leaving for the festival. How can it be so obvious that I didn't notice on first reread. He 100% knows, we don't even need anything outside ch11.

It’s both; he asked her who “Shou-chan” is after she hung up the phone and when he asks if she’s dating someone, Umi asks “Is there something wrong with that?”.

Later when Shou shows up at their restaurant, he sees Shou and clearly has an attraction towards her. He then learns that she is the “Shou-chan” that Umi was talking to.

Then while Umi and Shou are walking to the festival, Umi recognizes that her and her brother are more “similar” than she thought while thinking of her brother’s reaction to Shou.

Finally, he realized that Umi was making the chocolates for Shou but was denying that she was dating anyone after she admitted it to him previously. This is why I believe he knows but recognized that she wasn’t ready to admit it to the whole family yet.

When Umi gets roped into friendship chocolate, Nae and Zumi seem to go "what?" and sweatdrop respectively. Do they suspect Umi has a girlfriend? Has Umi told them off-page? (I sure hope we didn't miss that.) Sadly, we don't revisit this.

I think it was more that they were confused why she was hesitating to join them in making the chocolates, but I agree on the speculation that she’s hiding something. I don’t think she’s told them. She told Shou that she wouldn’t and I don’t think she would break that.

she actually revisited that with her more recently, with shou insisting that umi not force herself to hide it anymore (after shou read that novel about heartbreak their dormmate rec'd her and panicked). also this 100% came up with nae, where umi didn't say it but her reaction told nae everything and she congratulated her. so at least she knows umi's taken, even if not by who. zumi i have no idea though.

Okay, I reread and Nae seems to have caught on from two instances; one when she told everyone about what Ma-kun said and Umi said it’d be nice to have someone say that to her; and two when they were getting their love fortunes and Umi’s reaction to said fortune.

Zumi I think was after the festival that they went to together and she saw Umi and Shou walking to school together, with Shou fixing Umi’s hair.

So, yeah, those mixed with her hesitation about being in the single club with the others has them suspicious. But I don’t think she’s confirmed anything yet. That seems like something that wouldn’t happen offscreen, especially with Nae.

But such a cute chapter!! It’s always a good day when a chapter of this manga drops.

Neko said this is for the 10 year anniversary of the series. It’s also showing the marriage between Yuki and Riko that they weren’t able to include in the original run of the manga. Would be fun if we could get an official epilogue and their lives and marriage.

Oh, i did saw on pixiv that the new vol. Came out but as the translator app on my phone became crap due an AI update, it was harder to understand the notes from the author.
