It will be resolved very soon and then the story will go back to adapting straight from the novel.

We were mistaken and the web novel has already completed this arc in full. Just ignore what was said before about it being incomplete. Sorry for the confusion and the web novel notes page will be updated. The next chapter will continue where this one leaves off.

Liiiiiiiisten, that was months ago!, I'm sure the system has changed and is rooting for their relationship!.. Unless the next chapter proves me wrong..

I'm more partial to the idea that the system sorta tries to fulfill elsa's wishes in the worst ways possible
The mare at the beginning amplifies negative emotions or smthn like that,based on a quick reread of ch1, meaning somewhere in her heart she did want to jump, so the villainess system fulfilled that wish with either directly or indirectly killing her
