What an ass wish. If she gave a single fuck about Natalie she would know that Natalie doesn't want to leave Lapis.
Agreed. Her wish is entirely one-sided and fails to take into account Natalie's own feelings.
Just to try and pump the brakes on this before it carries off too far, I don't think this is very accurate. It can be tough to remember previous key events when you catch each update as they publish, but just last chapter we saw that Diana's first instinct was to completely give up Natori to Lapis for this exact reason--considering her feelings. But after that exchange, she has - honestly, rather logically and rightfully as far as the current State of Things is concerned - determined that that would just be a crushing, one-sided and scarily possibly abusive relationship.
So I think it is a bit contrived to say the wish isn't "considering Natori's feelings", since as far as Diana is concerned, this is the best thing for exactly that. And maybe she's just forcing Lapis into action to call her bluff. She's definitely a bit of a bull about these things lmao.
That being said,
Also, this "grant any one wish" thing reeks of unrealistic worldbuilding. Life doesn't work like that, even when magic is involved.
Yeah. lol. I can't disagree here. I sighed and rolled my eyes. But, well, we can write it off. Not every work of fiction is good at interconnecting every detail.
Don't think we're in the kind of set-up where a poly-ending is possible.
There are no love triangle settings where a poly-ending isn't possible, just writers who are too feeble-minded to push it.
