The fact the author is talking about the two main love interests in their future is obviously a reliable sign this is gonna be a poly route surely theres definitely no other reasonable explanation for it :copium:

I pray for this after every chapter.

no poly, only angst!

Is my head in the gutter or does Ruka san looks lewd even when she isn't trying to do ecchi stuff.

When we see ruka through suuna's eyes, ruka is always a bit lewd.

When we see ruka through the eyes of ruka's friends, ruka is a mischievous chibi cat.

Cup vanishes here https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/the_skirt_sings_at_the_landing_ch25#19

We never see a clear shot of her feet after, so it's possible she simply finished and put it down.

The cup was still full while she was talking, so unless she chugged the whole thing between pages 18 and 19, I don't think that's possible. It would also imply that the left it for the pigeons, since she never picks it up to throw away (we see both of her hands at different panels in the scene where they part and she's not holding anything other than her phone in any of them).

Taking the above into consideration, I think we can conclude that the author can be a bit forgetful about the details lol (or at least they were in this particular chapter).

okay, glad i'm not the only one, thought i was going crazy there for a sec xD That just makes her comment about being envious of Kiki for having someone precious all the more confusing/intriguing. I really hope we get to see where this plot thread goes, i'm gonna lose sleep over it at this rate

Yeah, the whole situation does seem kind of weird and vague.
No more vague than the fate of that cup tho

I will simply assume that they ate the cup

Not sure I'm down with the tag "Pay for gay" here, as the transaction between them has nothing to do with a romantic or sexual relationship, and in fact explicitly abjures one.

I mean, come on, you know the genre tropes. It's going to get gay in here.

I cannot ascertain what’s going on through Miyagi’s head

I figure that Miyagi wants to see a genuine expression of emotion from Sendai rather than a polite smile, even if that emotion is disgust or annoyance. They both lack yet desire genuine emotional connection to others, so that's why they stick together in this dysfunctional relationship.

Ah, I don't get it.
Normally a girl as socially unhinged as that is either in her mid to late 20s or would not just kiss someone for no particular reason for fear of ostracization.

Anime and manga, am I right?

...is there something about the mid to late twenties in particular that cooks up cooked women?

Who did Lapis originally want to kill, anyways? Like do you really need a full blown genocide instead of a handful of pokey pokies?

As of now it's framed as "killing all the commoners", so technically genocide (ethnic groups/nation) is a misnomer. Classicide (social class) would be more accurate.

That said we don't know yet what exactly drove her to that point, only lil bits and pieces that could just as likely be clues or misdirections

Umm...You people do know that Lapis had a adopted sister that could see the future and died to the [ANTI-NOBLE] fraction right, it was shown and explain in the past chapters???? MC did not know about Lapis adopted older sister having future sight and only knew that Lapis' sister died (But not the reason for Lapis' sister's death)....I guess some people just forgot maybe? :)

It kind of fked up that the [ANTI-NOBLE(Which includes the lesser lower rank nobles meaning they are not Anti-noble to rich people helping them lol)] fraction tried to kill Lapis and her adopted sister died protecting her but eh...Lapis was from a pretty much super high ranking family...Meaning killing her father or her (Future heir) would be a big blow to any possible strong future support to the KING/Royalty and the the higher rank nobles...Lapis as a kid was a easier target was my guess why they aimed for her instead of trying to target the father.

I pretty sure her motivation is very clear from what we can see from her backstory....XD

['Revenge'] for her adopted sister and killing "Everyone" in the [Anti-noble] fraction...If she has to kill lots of innocent people to kill every single person that could have a hand or a tiny bit of responsibility for her little sister's death...There would be no hesitation lol.

From my point of view and understanding of her character, Lapis would feel a tiny bit bad for killing any innocent people in the [Anti-noble (Any misguided person wanting change for the poor innocent people of society)] or innocent bystander that isn't even part of [Anti-noble] but that is a sacrifice she is willing to take.

Sure the assassin that tried to killed Lapis is dead...But what about all the people involved and ordered the attempted assassination???

Like...Am I just crazy or am I seeing a different version of this series then everyone??? Lapis motive and goals seems pretty clear to me. Even her minor prejudice against commoners is understandable considering witnessing her sister's death at the hands of the so-called 'Commoners'....Or my understanding of Lapis character is 99.99% total wrong and she is just trolling and fooling everyone with her FAKE backstory about having a adopted commoner sister XD

[This chapter(17)]
This chapter (17) shows that Diana was willing to give up pursuing MC for love if Lapis shows she cares for the MC and that the MC is number 1 to Lapis but Lapis' hesitation made Diana frustrated since she was ready to give up on the romance (IF Lapis was serious about MC) and saw Lapis hesitating which shook Diana up since she was ready to give on the MC.

Lapis though knows [She had to let go of MC's hand]...She will never give up on her 'revenge' and how her revenge could put MC in danger just from association....The real question to me honestly is...is this going to up end as a poly 3-way ending or just between Lapis & MC ending...the other option is the [BAD END] which I don't even want to considered happening lol...

On the concept of the anti noble faction not counting because it has nobles-

The French revolution had a number of lesser noble supporters, and so did the Bolshevik revolution. Some of them even survived when the revolution radicalized and turned against many of its own founders and early supporters, as revolutions are wont to do.

So yes, people can, have, and will support revolutions likely to result in their own execution. They think they'll be exceptions, and sometimes that assumption is even true.

I see zero chance of a scenario where Lapis doesn't end up with Natori.

Lapis dies

Diana gets to console Natalie

That's the kind of ending that would potentially piss off everyone. Can't see that one happening.

I recall a certain non Yuri manga that more or less did this and it was extremely funny on a meta level

Not this one, though

This is really so realistic that if I were in the same situation as her I think I would have done the same thing... because you can't just understand what to feel a part of you misses her, a part of you is scared of her, a part of you is angry at her, but if the person that you fell in love with is in your reach I think I would come back again and again... i'm so unstableeeeee

It's jover

Minami went for a kiss twice in 24 hours, said "I want you" and Yuzu still thinks it's "impossible". You really have to do some insane olympic level mental gymnastics to come to that conclusion.

The characters don't act like real people.

Someone bought me a plane ticket to visit them and a ticket to an aquarium, one of my favorite things, and then after laying in bed next to them after sex I was like "gee I wish she liked me the way I liked her"

Do not underestimate the power of a useless lesbian with MAJOR self esteem issues. People do act like this. A LOT of people act like this. And I think that it's actually kinda realistic. Is it maybe exaggerated for drama? Uh, yes. It's a drama manga that needs to fill a runtime.

... I'm a bit confused why people are freaking out. She's been in love for a while and rejecting her feelings because she felt she has already been rejected. So it's only natural that once things are changing, she doesn't just accept it outright as the most natural development, she's confused and worried.

Yeah I'll be real, I really have no clue why people are going as apeshit about this as they are lol. Y'all are tripping over each other to scream about how now the manga is bad and how it's all joever. Why are y'all reading this in the first place?

hol up I want the full story lol

ayo

There's at least half a dozen dead bodies in her house, some of them fresh. If she invites guests over without cleaning up, she's going to need those mind control spells. I am willing to guess there are serious limits to magic and good reasons why her mentor/parent discouraged her from leaving.

I am a sucker for the "young naive idiot goes out to meet the world for the first time despite a disturbing background" trope.

After thinking about it, the climax makes sense, but the villain himself isn't very interesting.

Just read the story, and comments... lots of comments about (maybe) suicide, and the mom's girls' school, but none about Miu apparently moving in with Fujiwara while in high school?

I like to imagine the mother's eyes lit up with dollar signs upon seeing the size of sportsball senpai's mansion

she be in the lab inventing female-female impregnation as fast as I can to babytrap this rich sucker with her daughter

I know Jiang is supposed to be this flawlessly competent person, but how do you end up in a director position when you're this bad at reading the room and can't even empathize with people at a cognitive level.

I hope she gets an arc that explores her past and explains why her entire childhood seems to be memory-holed cuz barely having any memory of your friends or what your school life was like is not normal and makes me think she had some traumatic stuff happening in the background. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it and her being clueless is just a funny and interesting way to create conflict.

I don't have any particular sharp traumas but I don't remember my school years either. The whole time was mildly unpleasant but unremarkable.

What I was trying to point out is that there is an understanding between Marika and Aya about Marika "Selling herself" to Aya and a contract being drawn up between the two that they both agree to, it doesn't justify that Aya went over the line but it is one of many factors that make the "infamous" scene not cut and dry.

Yeah, I'd call it a poorly negotiated CNC situation. No safe word and no explicit refusal of safe word. Closer to RACK than SSC, but not very Risk Aware. Aya had one expectation ("I can do whatever I want for the duration") and Marika was just winging it and responding to things, can't even call it a clear expectation.

Could have ended very badly, but they got lucky.

These acronyms - am I having gay sex or being deployed to Iraq?
