I see a lot of people putting on for Faye x Kelly and while I would think that could have potential to maybe go somewhere, I highly doubt it would happen. I dont think Faye or Kelly see each other that way at all, not to mention Kelly sadly still has that crush on Hesha and Irene exists and isn't going anywhere anytime soon I imagine. The same Irene who seems to be grooming Faye in the background and is only character that i see who can even come close to being a "yandere" (and not the fun kind)

Hesha x Jolene - M.C. meets FL's family, gets drunk with future In-Law, goes picking berries next day, living her best life

Irene x Faye - M.C. travels to foreign country to build connections, "Love Interest" leaves her alone (on purpose) knowing she'll get harassed, M.C. nearly gets SA'ed and murders a noble possibly causing diplomatic incident.

Its like reading two completely different stories in one and im here for it

And so begins the Faye x Irene arc. Whether that's a good or bad thing later, im kind of interested to see how the community here reacts to them as things progress. Either way, its very nice to have a good, legible translation for this arc in the story.

Yo!!! Dynasty scans picked up this series?! Yaaasss! I love Hesha and Qiao Lin (Jolene). Their relationship is organic and fleshes out really well later, im happy to see a better translation here. The side couples are good too although for different......(maybe toxic) reasons lol.

For the people questioning the yandere thing, its valid for you to do that. Its shows up now and again, but i think the interpretation of "yandere" expressed by this author with a certain character's actions are different from the mainstream view of how a typical yandere would act or think. Imo, I think the author's view of a "yandere" is a character that appears kind, calm, and level-headed on the outside but they are actually on the inside cold, calculated and cruel and will express/act on that cruelty when it comes things or people they care about or getting something or someone they desire. Either way, this story is dope and ill happily reread this here since the translation is actually good
