Have been curious about this series for a while and decided to finally check it out some days back. Just got caught up, and gotta say, it's been great so far. Looking forward to more!

This manga does rely heavily on classic tropes, but it also often subverts them. So I don't think it's fair to call it unoriginal.

And whatever, I like it :-)

This echoes some (admittedly brief) discussion I remember having with a friend on Discord (not on the Dynasty server this time tho). With her saying the series is too trope-y for her, and me saying it often subverts those same tropes it employs. Now, admittedly, when she asked for examples, I kindof blanked because I only vaguely remembered, but then remembered my favourite example - all of us thinking the girl that was sending Shun threats was a romantic rival, but it turned out - "oh, no, she's just a himejoshi who supported the non-canon ship a bit too zealously"

You're reading the wrong manga if you're hoping for that

Already said this on the Discord, but...

If I had a nickel for every fanart where Kronii cheats on Kronii with Kronii, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's still weird that it happened twice

^ Your comment reminded me of how in the Discord, some people half-jokingly yet likely accurately commented that Satsuki is in love with most or all of the rest of the Queentet (jury's still out on her feelings for Kaho) and hates that fact

BTW, this was commissioned by one of our friends from the Dynasty Discord (not me tho, can't afford requesting commissions, and even if I did, there's a number artists and pairings I'd do before this)

I was confused why they were talking about all that stuff that's unrelated to this manga, only to realize "oh, they're saying this is one of the rare things that appeals to them, and they're also trying to vent/complain about those 4 along the way".

^ Yeah, it definitely feels like the endgame is gonna be a polycule that includes at least all of the Queentet

Also, I don't think Lucie is calling Renako to gloat or whatever, I think she wants to say "oh, Satsuki and I reconciled with Mai's help" and to also invite Renako to join the sex (and given Kaho and Ajisai are right there, Renako might ask to bring them along to not be rude)

Call me naive, but I see they're clothed, so at most they might still be in the preparation stage to a threesome. As for the last part of your message there - everyone involved is a polyamorous lesbian and I love that for them.
