I never thought about other countries having the equivalent of proms. Those movies are from my day, so it's even more of a step back in time. Still, I hope the two gals can confess, dance, then awkwardly steam up their car windows.

while i feel like i need to reread the manga to fully understand if I love it or not, I can say without a doubt that arai sumiko is my favorite manga artist visually, her use of color never cease's to amaze me and some of art she's made on the side could be put in a museum and a poster on my wall.

Chapter 100 is where it happened. Since then things have gotten awkward and they're a bit distant bc Mizuki's busy with the sudden attention from ppl, and Aya is busy stewing in jealousy~

Like that commenter, I also thought they'd be awkward around each other but not actively fighting. Their faces seemed angry on the first page and apparently they aren't talking. That did seem a little odd to me and I did recheck to see if I forgot about an earlier chapter. At least they've got friends to help out.

Also, I wanted to point out how fast Dynasty Reader updates. I saw this chapter on the author's Twitter without the English translation earlier today, and just a few hours later, it's already on Dynasty.

I still have mine from my university days, a good 15 years ago! Still works like a charm too.
