Cuteness overload aside, I'm bizarrely proud of Takamine. Like, she's constantly growing and developing and changing and resolving not to be left behind and not to waste her chances. The writing around her has been incredible, I feel. But now back to the main topic on hand, let's fucking go baby a holiday date! ... a holidate? Is that a term? It fucking is now.
As an aside, on a more serious and sombre note, Takamine's inner monologue in this chapter has a genuine real-life impact on me, and I appreciate it. It's a bizarre place and context to find solace from, but in a weird way, it makes me feel like I've made a good choice with the media I'm consuming.
