Only read up to chapter two at this point, but I have to say that I'm surprised by the level of research here. It's remarkably accurate. The afterword of chapter one is more or less correct in saying that people treasured cleanliness. Most of the prejudice today comes from slanderous clerical texts (regarding peasants), although germ theory wasn't solidified yet (though there was some understanding of correct protective measures,) and as was glossed over in the after-notes, bloodletting and treatments for scabies, leprosy and the like did occur in bathhouses. By modern standards, that's fairly unhygienic.

Tellingly, while the after-note for clothing in chapter two is correct (though the kirtle was actually less close fitting in the 14th century, that's a 15th century development,) the clothing Rachel is wearing throughout the chapter is anachronistic, and closer to 17th century clothing. The idea of front lacing as in a bodice didn't occur until centuries later, and it's highly unlikely that they'd cut off beneath the breast as in Rachel's garb (because the purpose of the lacing was supportive). (Also the neckline is a bit low-cut.) Given that every other character is dressed normally, it's clearly for titillation.

The fact the author is talking about the two main love interests in their future is obviously a reliable sign this is gonna be a poly route surely theres definitely no other reasonable explanation for it :copium:

This is power harassment. Saitou got her the job, then started putting the moves on her with the implication that her position and advancement in the company were contingent on sexual favors. Luckily this wasn't entirely the reality, but still, I feel like if Saitou were a man everyone here would be calling them a creep...

Do we know for a fact that he has an ex named Henry? Because there's an "I almost talked about my ex" type of reaction and an "I almost revealed I had an affair" type of reaction and this looks to me like the latter. The face you make when what you almost said could have lead to a breakup.
the type who mindblanks when she sees the face of her crush feeling her visual field and can't react for sh*t no matter what happens.

.... think about what type of manga this is. You REALLY think this is a case of infidelity and with zero guilt to boot? The only time angst/drama happened was almost 100 chapters ago and with 1 single couple. That's it. Bringing up moments with your EX to your current partner invokes this exact reaction.

another cute moment. TBH i prefer the TV myself, especially the pacing, but SV does have some good stuff too.
