I think Baba was 100% sure when Shou asked her about love advice.

Cute chapter. Even the interlude was great, it's more teasing than bullying which is nice.

The additional new scenes are great in fleshing out the side characters.

It's for sure yuri. After the recent Moon chapters, i have faith in this author now.

If you go back and reread volume 6, it's more than a little shift.

Comparing it to the light novel, it looks like they're removing the Templeborn arc. Interesting, this chapter pretty much covered the whole of volume 6.

The weirdest thing about the watch thing is that someone actually wears watches in this day and age, when everyone checks time on their phone. But alright, apparently Maya wears it all the time, since she got a watch tan... except we don't see it a single time in the course of this story, including an outing to the bar :P

I wear a watch too. It's just more convenient, especially when you're active.

Lol some people just overthink things or focus on the wrong things. It happens.

I love this because it focuses on a specific relationship trouble you rarely see.

1. I forgot about the whole mermaid thing. I'm curious if her mom really is one? She did say her dad is a giant liar. But if he is what really happened when she fell in the water and wound up on the shore and didn't just die lol?

I think she just got lucky and washed up on the shore.

Unrelated but did anyone else think that the undershirt that Matsuri mentioned is probably some kind of compression shirt or binder?

It's definitely hinting at something. There was the washroom issue this chapter too.

It's a bit of stockholm's, but not completely. Stil need to see more past memories to decide what their relationship was.

All the characters were great, even the childhood friend. The yearning that everyone had....amazing.
