I enjoyed the chapter, but I have to admit that note page somehow ended up my favourite part. Thank you for these continual interesting tidbits, heron!
Since her father is a music producer and is interested in meeting Mitsuki, there’s a possibility that Mitsuki could get signed to a record label (if we view it optimistically).
Having seen what the "industry" does to artists, I would say there's nothing optimistic about that at all...
I don't get her hangups. Like in context, I'm pretty sure they're both considered marriageable age at this point and Elsa seems... frankly more mature than Evie a lot of the time. ╮(^▽^)╭
Oh, hey, I recognize you from Ao3.
Always (Sometimes)! (。・ω・。)ノ♡
Anyway, tbf, in terms of someone having hangups that prevent a relationship from advancing, not wanting to sleep with someone that you consider underage is...extremely valid.
You'd think those same hangups would preclude a relationship at all, is kinda the point. Either she's made peace with being a new person (and she certainly doesn't act like a mature adult IMO, so it's not a stretch) and can do as teens do, or she hasn't and shouldn't be in so deep that she's currently taking this girl (who she's declared her love for) to meet her parents as a partner.
Not wanting to bang in the woods would be a more reasonable concern, honestly.

Is Su secretly a tanuki and that's why she hates foxes? Or was she jilted in the past? With this setup, I fully expect she's actually very aware of the supernatural...
Ada tries to fix things; breaks things in a weird way. Rather than leaning into being a villain, she should just say she was a stupid kid before.
That said, I wonder if it would be more convincing to claim she had a prophetic vision of the ruin that will come to them if things stay the way they are? He seems gullible enough for that.
I wonder if there's any irl Japanese musicians publishing on Bandcamp.
A decent number. Really wish it were more; Bandcamp makes it so much easier to get things than stupid booth et al.
Any recommendations? I only tend to find Japanese artists on spotify or youtube
Kinda depends on what you're into. For example, I just discovered recently that carrotwine still exists! https://carrotwine.bandcamp.com/music Mr. ARA himself, just putting up a wide gamut of bangers.
https://bravewave.bandcamp.com/music Releasing old game soundtracks. (Though REALLY annoyingly they often don't have a standalone digital release for some stupid reason...)
I haven't even looked for Japanese artists specifically in most cases, and some of these I just stumbled into from YT recs or following tags, but they were easy as pie to pick up because BC is dead simple and doesn't tend to Just Stop Selling Things (like is my experience with Amazon, for example).
