So, I'm re-evaluating my predictions.
No yuri tag on official sources
serialized in a shoujo magazine
complete at two volumes
main character doesn't even get horny about the supposed homewrecker, and the husband is a "green flag"
The chance of any physical infidelity occurring in this is looking very tiny, especially in a way that is sexy/fun. Same goes for Hikaru leaving her husband. I have never heard of a yuri manga where the main character chooses another woman over her husband, that wasn't tagged as yuri on official sites. A shoujo manga where a woman gets away with cheating on her husband with another woman sounds unbelievable on its own, without the yuri tag it's a non-starter. And the narrative doesn't have enough time to completely undermine this premise in just two volumes, especially without the affair getting physical.
Jeez, all that whining about cheating and indecency made me slightly get my hopes up, and now here I am lowering my expectations to avoid disappointment. I'm just going to hope that Yayoi Oosawa delivers at least on vibes if not the narrative. Ignoring whenever the focus is on the poor innocent husband and his fee fees, a vibe exists so far.
I'm like 99% of the time on the side of yuri but I'm against NTR. Rooting for the dude this time but cheating is inevitable. Maybe the dude will have some kinda flaw that makes the yuri easier to accept but he's passing the vibe check so far.
What could inspire this level of fixation on women seducing each other into infidelity? Even my imagination didn't jump to sloppy lesbian NTR while I was reading this, and I actually like that stuff.
