Humanity does have experience integrating other predatory species into our society and it’s no secret how to do it. Kill the wolves and keep the dogs.
In this setting, the wolves are realizing they’re no longer strong enough to be wild predators, and it’s time to either adapt or die. A human who likes you will feed you, and humans who like you even taste especially delicious. Is domestication actually a bad outcome? For anyone except the progenitors?
