if you're in debt. Those you owed will make your wife pay for your debt too if there's any link between them. And since the father is basically useless with making money now. All the work would lie on his wife. But if he divorced her, his debt only belong to him. And the creditor won't come to his wife to get money. He will suffer alone. But if he still with her, she will have to work two people job to pay for his debt. At least if they are divorced, her money would be priority to pay for their essential need and their kid future. Not on his debt. Now he only need to suffer alone.

Hikaru is very observant I know she’s been thinking on this stuff for a while. As clumsy as she is she’s not a useless lesbian. She is actively trying to make things work but is also dealing with anxiety that I do think Kiara caused. But this communication is so wholesome and so mature. I wa super confused what the problem here is too. Like, why is Hikaru bothered that Kairi is being nice. But then again, she just wants to know what is going on with her GF. It's time they talk. Hikaru needs to understand why Kairi said those things, too. I love this manga so much!! Can't wait for more. I've been reading this chapter like 5 times already... T.T

The issue is Karin is not communicating what she wants and needs, focusing instead on what Hikaru wants to do. When they started going out Karin was a lot more assertive and pushed the relationship forward, but ever since she actually fell in love, due to her own issues, she feels like her love is less valid, so she's taken a step back, and Hikaru's noticed that.

The issue they're having is that Kairi is prioritizing Hikaru's feelings and ignoring her own because she feels like Hikaru is too good for her and deserves better than a "disgusting person" like herself. Honestly it's a pretty accurate portrayal of someone with horrible self-esteem issues.

I really loved following this manga and it's a shame it was so short. I was hoping for it to at least be the usual 2-3 volumes, but it ended well without any loose ends and without feeling rushed so I'm satisfied. I just wished we had a few more chapters of the teasing/toxic dynamic we saw in the first 3 chapters.
