I like how it starts with Aya counting her messages - just shows how much she's thinking about Mitsuki.

If the chapter count is anything to go by, we're approaching the end of volume 2 (and of the manga?) which will be out in February 2024.

I see no reason to guess this series is ending anytime soon. It's bigger than ever and they've got a lot of development left to develop (they might finally get together soon but I trust this author enough to assume they're not the kind of hack who ends a story at the beginning of a relationship like some kinda shounen romance). The only premature outcome I can feasibly imagine for this is something like The Princess of Sylph, a serialization that results in a reboot, but this manga's so high profile at this point with that "This Manga is Amazing!" result that I can only imagine the author's received and turned down offers from magazines at this point.

There's no need to turn this into a magazine serialization when the twitter version is already getting physical volume releases.

Actually I just realized looking back that nobody's posted this here yet. "The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't A Guy At All" (under its original Japanese title "Ki ni Natteru Hito ga Otoko Janakatta" lol) won second place in the "This Manga is Amazing!" 2024 contest in the women's manga division.

I would think 'Sing Me Your Love Song' By Jonathan Butler would be perfect except it's the wrong genre of music and would give the wrong vibe at this time (too laid back and soft), but I can't think of another song that would work near as well though. A number of Boston's songs keep wanting to bubble up, but again wrong genre and wrong vibe, plus lacking a whole band as back-up.

She's supposed to sing and play her own composition.

It's stupid to try to guess what she will cover, since it won't be a cover.
