Yuni basically fell out of love with Nanase, because Nanase has zero EQ and is unable to provide what Yuni needs: attention and love.

I suppose they complement each other that way, Nanase and Yuni: one with zero EQ the other with zero IQ. Proof being that they are still "together". Otherwise this story would have been like five chapters long probably haha.

Ahaha gotta agree with Mashiro here, she really is foolish. Finally a fun chapter.

Mashiro you're complete scum.

Fuuko might be twisted in some places but at least she has some morality to her.

Eh, it's better to just accept that everyone in this story is trash of various flavors. It's far too late to proclaim moral high ground, least of all for Fuuko.

After thinking on it a bit, stating that love WILL fix every problem is honestly more irresponsible than saying it doesn't. Probably should have had a follow-up clarification for the little bro though.

What a nice one shot of three gal pals having a monopoly night

Insert Marge Simpson "That's true but she shouldn't say it" here

It's like... this is kinda trashy and toxic, certainly enough to not be cute or wholesome, but not enough to be actually funny or entertaining. Tsukasa is annoying, Yuki is bland, chapter was boring. Will something actually happen next time?

The more sure of herself Mashiro is, the more fun it will be to see her be the one to fall hard.

Not sure about the smell of triangle in the air, however...

Nah, gave it a shot since it's Kashikaze but, nah

I know it's for jokes but what makes this Manga actually work is that the chaos and trashy actions actually make logical sense. A Manga with bad writing would certainly do something like make Mashiro & Yuni suddenly happen to add more drama, but this story isn't like that. Nothing happens for no reason. Yuki's true nature slowly being teased out to now is a good example of this.

Eeehhhh not sure "logical sense" is what I would go with here, however that is a road down to a mostly semantic argument that no one should take ahaha. That said, why dismiss any potential scenario at this point? I'm sure sensei can work her way there if she wants to.

These kind of chapters are so funny. Poor sweet Yuni, so neglected, but at least she has a nice friend whose mouth she can plunge her tongue into. Wholesome ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶

I rather checked out of this manga a good while ago and only catch up once in a while now to see what goofiness is happening. That said, the author could do the funniest thing here... make Mashiro x Yuni happen, in whatever convoluted way. Come on Iwami-sensei, more chaos, you know you want to!

Well, not much to add that has not been said here already, but I will say that after everything is said and done and collected into books, it will be interesting to read it all in one go. See how it all flows and comes together. Or doesn't, who knows!

Tsukasa sure loves to live on that murky "never confirm, never deny" zone of vagueness, huh. Sounds like someone who is a pain to deal with, so obviously Yuki will fall for her hard.

Where were all the adults when she was crying into her pudding in the corner, what a sad panel.

It's funny. This manga does currently feel like it's sliding from "comfort" to "anxiety" somewhat, but why is that?

Perhaps the prolonged nature of this current bit of drama is what makes it lose its impact within the format it's presented in? Did the early parts of the story make us expect a certain rate of forward momentum, or "punchlines" if you will, and lacking that now with things more stretched out gives the whole thing a stagnant feel in comparison? Or is this all purely vibes and not how the story has actually progressed so far? I have certainly not gone back and checked!

In the end it might be as simple as this: the drama before they got together gave us anticipation, but the drama after they got together makes us anxious. It's not that the content changed, but the context did.

Now communicate already you bozos!

That "conceited women who are full of pride and think they're in the right all the time" sounding more and more like Mashiro talking about herself. Lady, you are already so down bad.

Shirakawa is the kind of character who would be annoying as a real person but fun in stories like this.

That extra with the dogs was better than the entire main story.

Damn, people sure love their toxic, cheating bullshit.

Well, maybe it will turn as dumb as everyone's favorite Iwami Kiyoko work, and thus as funny.

Hormonal teenagers ARE a pain in the ass lol. And I don't particularly care about defending a character so much as I can't comprehend "attacking" her. She's a well written complex flawed character. She's not failing to meet any of the requirements of a character, even if she's definitely failing to meet the requirements of an "ethical girlfriend," cuz this ain't a story about ethical girlfriends. Tbh, a story about ethical girlfriends sounds pretty boring. Yuni's job as a character is to be interesting and entertaining, and imo she's doing great at that.

I suppose by this definition, most of the stories on this site are pretty boring.

Well that was a cute piece of fluff.

Man what a mix of anticipation and dread the soon to be airing anime gives. On one hand it will be nice to have everyone voiced and moving, on the other hand I am not ready for instant replay of the drama llama times... Assuming a regular 12 episode run though, it will be interesting to see what they will fit in it.

Comedy gold.

Yup. That's the stuff I come for at this point. What a weird, forced reason to initiate this development, "the >bad< girlfriend is suddenly absolutely miserable with directions oh no". The first part of the chapter was actually quite cute though, against at least some of the odds.

I wouldn't call her asshole-ish, I'd call her... passionate lol. She's obviously flawed, I'd imagine she's been working through the last few chapters' events in her head wondering what she did wrong. Wouldn't be surprised if "being too demanding and confrontational" comes out as the conclusion, she pushed to try to end things definitively before Yuni was quite ready to move on, which shows Fuuko in retrospect to be less manipulative than she previously came across as. She wasn't winning because she's a puppet master making Yuni dance to her tune, she was winning because Yuni really did want her, and she stopped winning because Yuni flinched out of guilt for being a "cheater".

Yes I do actually agree with a lot of this. But also, chapter 17 exists ahaha. I call that crossing the line, you call it being passionate, but hey it's all good.

I really don't get what horrible crimes people are Fuuko committing

Only if one considers general asshole-ish behavior a crime I suppose. Which it thankfully isn't, phew, so many of us would be in trouble otherwise!

It does make Fuuko rather harder to sympathize with though, and this latest chapter did not really move that particular needle. Is this entire volume going to be just gazing at the world's most hesitant shoe starting to drop or what?
