In the bottom right panel, Mashiro speaks to Makino and says: "Is this gonna be okay, Mashiro-chan?" She should say "Makino-chan" as she herself is Mashiro and the one she's talking to is Makino.

I'd like to point out that in the past few chapters, Makino has communicated clearly with Mashiro, validate her feelings, recognized her prior screw-up, and proactively attempted to fix it. Even if she went about it in her usual scummy way and it didn't work out how she expected all, the fact that she tried and that it worked out in the end showed to Mashiro that Makino is ready, willing, and able to fight for their relationship, paving the way for their mutual confession.

So it was Rina. I hoped for a quicker resolution (like this manga normally does) but didn't expect the sudden gay revelation! I'm glad they did make him a comedic joke in the end because his "I say we're engaged, so we're engaged" thing could only be taken as a joke. And I guess it's true that the mom is the big bad and maybe this guy will be the ally I thought he would or maybe he'll just disappear.

Finally, Makino passed the test with flying colors and now Satou feels comfortable enough to admit her love! It was already clear that Satou loved her but just wasn't confident in Makino's decision making yet--so the promise. And once again Makino's scumbagness is overblown. She's just "messy" but she is normally nice, especially to Satou. They love each other unconditionally. Now I'm just interested in what shenanigans the mom is up to.
