Will the scanlators finish the manga, chapter 21 and extra?

I have the raw too. It is ok. Definitely axed. I like the story with so much potential. I just love trashy characters. I wonder if the scanlators will ever finished 5, 6 and chapter 7?

A little bit unrelated, but I guess Sunday GX likes Vampeerz theme so much that Show's new manga "Undark: 新しい透明な力のすべて" (July issue, coming out in mid June 2024) will have some common elements with vampeerz. To be exact, Undark is a psychic suspense story as Show describes it.
"It's a story about children who have awakened to supernatural powers, and although it's not a direct story, it also includes yuri-like elements.". Let's hope the romance part is more important than the psychic power part of the story as the story develop. The romance part of vampeerz is what got me hooked, not the vampire part.
The main character looks like Ichika but with very long hair.

Plus the way he is drawn. He looks gay or bi, as opposed to be cis-male straight.

I always wonder if he is gay. The signs are all there. He does not behave like a typical straight cis-male.

This of course has nothing to do with him being a shipper. But I do not think this is what in his mind in response to Uncle's question, that is, I think his answer is about sexual orientation.

New chapter will come out in the upcoming May publication (July issue). You can check the info from the current June issue Yurihime back page, or simply directly head to yurihime's website under the next issue preview tab. Having 6 months of no new publication is still alarming while there is no official explanation from either the publisher or the mangaka. It will be very interesting to read Volume 6 though, because perhaps the mangaka needs lots of time to rework the chapters?

The back page for the June issue has the usual Q&A session with all the mangaka, this time is about asking them whom do they admire most. I think all the mangaka gave their answers including those who replied "nobody". Saburouta simply was not listed and hence was missing at the Q&A session. I find that extremely strange since everyone just submitted a one or two sentences answers. So Sabu did not even do that, very strange indeed for someone who work in Yurihime for over 10 years. Health reason? Burned out? Artistic clash with the new chief editor? Going back moonlighting shoujo manga? Who knows.

I never did realize they were a couple until this umbrella chapter. So sweet.

I wonder if it is possible in Japan to ask the teachers to not assign your best friend to a different class. Maybe Mashiro can use a health excuse to make sure Nagisa is in the same class?

Ema clearly married for the wrong reason. Convenient. Looking for a single room means the marriage is still not good enough for the reason. The fiancee must be a ghost, 20 chapters and nowhere to be found. Yuna does not sound too excited about him. Maybe Yuna is a lesbian after all and marry a man just to have a sperm donor, plus society's approval. This story can easily have a biphobia subplot. Yuna dumping Kiku for a man.

I was not discrediting the translator's work, in fact, I was relieved that my own reading directly from the raw matches what the translator's understanding. I worked quite a few years in the translation software business, so off all people I should know the problem of machine translation. Even in English, a "lover" can be considered a mistress depending on the context, especially if the person is male.
I simply cannot see how Yuni X Nanase can continue further. Maybe Yuki can be a catalyst again to destroy that relationship so that we will have Yuni X Fuuko (My "ship") instead. I cannot wait for the next issue (May/March) and I wonder what Sensei will come out with. She is very good at resolving and writing the love triangle.

愛人 isn't a generic lover here. It's specifically in the meaning of mistress, or, if you want "the person I love sexually as opposed to the person I'm married to/in an official relationship with".

If she meant a "lover" it would be 恋人 (the one you love)

Yes, Aijin and Koibito have huge differences. The fact that her mom chooses aijin means she knows koibito is the same person as the "kanojou". Consider what sort of job she has, Yuni's mom definitely knows something is up even with that slight pause yuni gives out. I am sure lots of her customers have pauses when asked if they were married....

In any case, my own understanding from reading the raw ends up almost the same as your interpretation, that is important because to me scanlation is like psuedo-canon,in fact a lot of times it is better than official translation. So thank you for the hard work so that I know my understanding is correct as opposed to off the mark.

Must be intuition or personal experience, using both words girlfriend and lover in a conversation with her daughter, assuming that she has both. However she does not seem to imply Yuni is two timing (does something wrong).

Does Yuni's mom really ask three times in the order of "Boyfriend?" "Girlfriend?" "Lover?". That means she is amazing and totally progressive in her views

Now that we are on chapter 23, I have a question...
Did Yuni's mom ask Yuni whether she has a "girlfriend" or "lover" p187-189 after Yuni says she does not have a boyfriend?

After revealing Yuni's domestic life, I actually like her a lot more now.
