Next chapter might be heartbreaking, though I think Nanao has got too much attention to just be definitively rejected now and for her relevance to end. I can see Asumi telling her she'll think about her answer again once she's found Mai.

This chapter was cute and the next one has me excited! At least for now they can enjoy each other's company, and honestly in a way I think that's better than never having got the chance to even spend one day with someone you care about. It might make moving on the following day even harder, but at the very least for that one day you got to experience the relationship you wanted to. In a way I think that's sweet.

I usually hate date chapters in manga cause they’re soooo boring lol…but this chapter did get some smiles out of me. The tension between them is too HOT!

I get what you're saying and where you're coming from, but I simply can't see this going in the heartbreaky direction. I also don't necesaarily think Nanao's gonna go anywhere. I guess she might start going to brothels by herself, though. In any case, I really don't think this series has any sort of doom or gloom in its horizon.

Mai was about in a couple of chapters at the start but author -san seems to have forgotten about her.
Not that I'm complaining.
