Actually makes sense for this site in particular, the tone of stuff posted here isn’t usually just straight-facedly macabre. (Not that there aren’t cases here of course! :p) So guro being generally paired with a contrasting genre here makes sense! (Though a lotta guro does skew comedic when i think about it…)

Read the tags initially but the tone of the rest of the comic made the twist hit pretty hard anyway. itsa good punchline imo. I actually ended up invested in the love interest’s whole story too, rip
