I just love how the black girl remains unbothered throughout most of this

It's definitely an interesting take on this series, but I would much preferred if all the girls in Ranma's harem got with each other instead

I'm just genuinely glad that weird racist yuri meme of the black girl and white girl insulting each other's looks and then kissing never made it to this website, good thing memes have a very short lifespan, oop let me not jinx it.

@Denny Wiseau none of those girls should've been related and that's my hottest take on that show, and why it flopped. Well that and that nasty reveal of Sesshomaru sleeping with that young girl, yuck.

I occasionally remember this fanart where the artist for some reason decided to whitewash Numbuh 5 and get mad all over again. Even wilder is how nobody in the comments has pointed this out.

With her looks, there's 99% chance the "black" witch is actually of Brazilian origin.

Well yeah she could be Afro-brazilian, which is still black, no need to put it in quotations

Japan has a large immigrant population from Brazil, a lot of them being halfs. And conversely, the largest amount of
Japanese people living outside Japan are in Brazil.

Perhaps, and perhaps she could just be half-Black american or just fully Black, idk it's just a comic about witches and spirits, I'm not sure accuracy is what sal Jiang is going for here

Ok I was kinda worried there at the beginning, and was thinking of requesting some tag changes, glad the story came around in the end whew.

When are we gonna get some Ripley 8 x Call content up in this joint?
I've seen that ship picking up steam again on social media recently.

And I'm right there with you, I've read free soul and can't think of many others right now. But I would desperately love to see more black women in yuri manga generally

Absolutely
now that I think about it how could I have forgotten about the 3 stories featuring the Nessa x Sonia ship from a few years ago as well as a handful of images scattered through here, many of which were made by western artists under the....dark skin tag

You know I have to give credit where credit is due, Kiana Khansmith may have been responsible for popularizing this ship.
And for that I'll always be grateful.

Yay I'm excited for this series and the art looks gorgeous. And there's a pretty Black girl in the cover and I can't wait to know more about her

Also based on the title spread it feels like Sal Jiang keeps putting a single black character in their series, and each time the character becomes a little more plot relevant lmao

Wait in what other works has that happened? I thought Black characters in yuri were pretty rare, dare I say almost non existent
Only yuri project I can think of is Free Soul , and that is a story within a story, the Black character in it is a figment of the main character's imagination, they don't interact with each other.
But I would definitely love to read more yuri works with Black characters in them.

Very interesting and original story i had never seen anything similar to it.
The goddess' character design was giving me old school '80s kinda vibe.
I also found interesting how quickly things escalated to horror levels and deescalated just as fast.
Edit: So I just found out this author also does horror stories and does them very well

Ok whew I was kinda worried at the beginning there that she wouldn't be accepting of her lifestyle and make constant shady comments, but glad she came around. Also at first I thought they were watching Portrait of a Lady on Fire; which would've made this story extra lesbian, but the names confused me so what movie where they watching?

Ok I can't believe it I've never gotten this so first comment yay!
The story is amazing and I can't wait to read more parts
Edit: Ok so after checking out the author's other works in this anthology I realized I've actually read their work before and have liked everything I've seen so far, with how they handle relationships between adult young women that border on the parasocial, which seems to be a running theme in the anthology.

Gods for people supporting lesbian comics some of y'all sure do hate asexuals...

Ain't that something?
I still remember the absolute fuckery that went down in the comment section of Crescent Moon and Doughnuts once the protagonists were revealed to be aro/ace.
It was so disappointing to see, especially cause it was only a year and a half ago that that happened, and you would've thought based on the ignorant reaction that this was happening 10 years ago when the concept of asexuality wasn't as understood as it today.
I came to the comments of this one expecting/hoping it would be different, but I was sadly disappointed with some of them, I am so sorry to the aro/ace community y'all deserve better.

Now with that being said I actually preferred this story even though it wasn't a full series; as it showed the couple living together and their domestic life, as opposed to them living in separate apartments like in CM&D.

Sweet story but yeah this is one of those stories where the gender, age and physical appearance of the characters changes things. It's also the energy, mutual attraction of the characters, and how they come across to each other, under any other context this would have been so creepy lol. I suggested adding the stalking tag in the suggestion box but I suspect it's going to be rejected, as that would probably change the context of the story, though it would very much fall under that category.
