What I've wondered about is the tradeoff between familyname-chan and personalname-san

As Kirin-kun said earlier, there is a lot of cultural subtlety around names and honorifics that depends on context that can include situation, age, family, and other interpersonal factors. So you can’t necessarily make a blanket statement about a permutation’s “place.” But I’d say “lastname-chan” is more formal; it’s always considered more familiar to use someone’s given name. “-chan” isn’t exactly an independent honorific, it’s really more of a “diminutive” or cutesy version of “-san.” When used on an adult it says more about how you perceive their personality than their social status.

And I wouldn't if I trusted the mic at all, but I don't, because it's awful. In my experience, most phones have pretty trash mics and the person on the other end often has trouble understanding me.

But you can see in all other chapters that the record store was right off the street with a big picture window next to it.

I'm glad they salvaged the CDs and are still using them in the new business.

You are right, the way it's written is confusing but the way you interpret it makes sense.

I think it's just a random person who works at the bar. They may just be background scenery, or the first showing of a new character.

As for Hime, it would be nice to see what she has been doing.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hime was Mitsuki's agent as she attempts to get into the music industry.

It looks like the timeskip has settled. And I guess it served to bring the series back to exactly present day since their third year of high school was in 2023 and this is two years later.

Btw, before people get all upset, "Shu-chan" got boobs.
