I like their faces more now too. I think it's mostly the bodies that are looking a little weird (they have always been tbf), but honestly I don't blame them, I can see the cleanliness from before being tiring to keep up with. The manga is still really fun to read which is what matters :P

Chigusa was never particularly good with anatomy, but the recent chapters are pretty bad. If this is a sign of her being overworked then she needs to hire more assistants asap. Semifriend is her most popular work after all.

Regardless, the dynamic of the characters is still enjoyable, even if the art is currently not quite keeping up the way it used to.

She has recently posted an oneshot https://comic-days.com/episode/2550912965822222250?from=gmagakichi and the art quality does seem to be on the same level (well, slightly better), so it might be that she is being overworked.
I hope that she gets to take it easy soon, would hate to see her burn out.

I wonder if it’s just a coincidence that Suuna’s parents names are Sora and Riku… though, if I remember correctly, Sora means sky and Riku means land or something like that, so maybe she’s just thinking along the same lines as the Kingdom Hearts devs.

Did Minori Chigusa get bored with this and put more time into Girls x Vampire?

Unfortunately the art is STILL kinda bad compared to her older art.
I think Chigusa needs to stop taking on so many projects at once.

Is it just me or has the art style changed entirely? It feels more glamorous and shoujo/josei now which lowkey kinda got me flustered at their faces for a bit sometimes. Not in the same way as the previous chapters which looked rushed; this is polished but like... I like the new style.

Reversal Ruka is true peak, chef's kiss. The animation of their blushing and yearning has my kicking my feet! I like their designs and faces a lot now. Surr it's not perfect, but that's partof what drew me to this in the first place. Someone who isnt the best at every single thing but has passion and a vision. Bow down to the yuri gods for whatever they deliver!!!♡

Suuna really has made leaps and bounds of progress without realizing. Imagine Ch.1 Suuna hearing what Sefure really means, you think she'd be able to go from "Oh so that's what it means!" straight to "So are we gonna do what it means now, or what?". Unthinkable xD
