So, did Ayaka forget that Yuuka was a witch since she said she doesn’t remember what happened before she went to sleep? I guess it makes sense since that day just didn’t happen anymore, but she clearly remembered that she can die to repeat a day, so it seems she at least remembered bits and pieces of it. I thought it was weird that Yuuka was with her in the hospital after that reveal.

I can only imagine how things will go when the sister finds out, it'll either be very comedic (You love my younger sister? I'll help you out!) or very dramatic (You love my younger sister? You creep! Don't show your face here again!) depending on how it handles it, it might make or break the series for me.

I kinda thought her friend figured it out since she was like “Wait…” after she ran away, but I doubt it since it’s too early and that’s not really a conclusion anyone would jump to. Also, I think it’s funny that nmi made so many interesting, well-written, and mostly relatively unique one-shots and then went with something like this for her first ongoing story. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about this at all since it’s interesting and I’ll keep reading it, but I just thought it was very different from all of the one-shots.

I was wondering what was going on with Kanako and Suwako, so thanks for explaining that? I’m curious though, what does syncretizing mean in this context anyway? I looked it up, but I’m not sure how it works if a god syncretizes with another god or something like that.

Wow, I admit that I was pretty annoyed last chapter by this whole misunderstanding BS, so I am very glad that it actually got resolved in one chapter. Those students were still being completely unreasonable, but at least one of them apologized and Nakanishi didn’t make things worse. Tadokoro is still being unreasonable by asking Kaede to stay away from Itaoka and all, but an apology is more than I expected… and nice, the letter sender has been revealed.

What happened to Double Date Pt. 1? Looks like missing a chapter… (just kidding, it’s been a double date for several chapters already so that’s part 1, I guess)

Her friend seems like an idiot… she literally saw them in public with her own eyes and saw the picture they took together. Maybe I’m the idiot though, and she actually just decided to keep it a secret too. What do y’all think? I suppose Hana’s other friend is in denial since she’s in love with her based on the blushing and all.

I stumbled on Chapter 14 a little while back (there was a gap between 8 and 14 before), and I tbh thought the preceding chapters would explain this all started. I mean, 14 heavily implies why it all started, but I’ve been waiting for a more detailed explanation. 15 is apparently the last chapter, so I guess that’ll explain it more. It’s been a fun ride, and I’m glad we’ll finally be able to see the ending soon.

Not the worst "Sudden ending" yuri manga I have seen but doesn't prevent it from hurting. (I can't remember what it was called, but it featured the MC trying to avoid her love from finding out about the demon in her? It limped to death and man it was sad)

Oh wow, Volume 1 of this was 8 chapters, but Volume 2 is gonna be nowhere near as big. That...is sad.

I hope someone remembers what that manga was since it sounds interesting. you did say the ending is bad though, so maybe not. What’s wrong with the ending? Also, I’m sad that a unique manga like this got cut short for whatever reason.

I probably forgot something from a previous chapter, but what is that hopping shower thing she’s scared of?

Sorry that means it's time to reread the whole series from the beginning

I reread the first chapter to see the ice cream thing and then just decided to reread the rest 'cause why not. Such a great series!

It's the ice cream that they get in chapter 1 :D

That makes sense! I went back and reread, so that's a nice callback. I like that popping candy or whatever it's called in general, so I'd like to actually try something like this sometime.

This setup is honestly creeping my out. There's just so much that could go wrong. The fact that the male teacher is into the Kaede. The way it focuses so much on highschoolers emotions and sexuality while also emphasizing that they are children. The fact that the male teacher's only reason for not dating a student is that he doesn't want to loose his job (and that he's into mc). The fact that Kaede's heart "skipped a beat" when she thought the male student might be into her. The way that Kaede being a "nypmho" was brought up in front of her students. How casual Kaede's students are with her. Nami's weird comment at the end of the first chapter. Kaede's weird one-sided relationship with Nami. The fact that the only time we've seen the mc be sexual is when Nami is basically forcing herself on her (though it doesn't seem like Kaede isn't into it). The fact the series opened with het.

All in all, I don't like the fact that the only lesbian relationship we've seen so far has been Nami and Kaede's weird fling. I don't like all the het undertones. And I don't like the way they're both foreshadowing student x teacher and recognizing how wrong the dynamic is. I'm honestly worried for where this series is heading.

Yeah, I agree with you there. It’s all pretty questionable. Maybe the male student thing could at least be rationalized by him kinda looking like Nami. Not sure if that’s what the author was going for, but I guess their hairstyles are somewhat similar, so maybe she was reminded of her from a long time ago.

Yeah, I was thinking the girl who was reading aloud was the letter sender as well. It could be either her or that girl who asked Oda if he likes the teacher since she made a weird face right before she asked that. I assumed that those three girls at the end were jealous, but maybe not since I think one of those girls is the same one from before.

Also, I wonder how anyone even found out about their meeting. There were two random people whispering in the background, so I guess they’re the mothers of those girls or something; I’m sure this will be explained soon enough though.

I hope this can be saved like Love Bullet. That one got popular on social media though from what I remember though, so I guess it sadly won’t happen for this one. The only manga I’ve ever bought are this one, Love Bullet, and Princess of Sylph to support them when they were about to be axed… it’s not like my single purchase matters (and it sadly didn’t help Sylph), but we should all be supporting this for sure.

Subaru is crying her precious WataTen ended.

I don’t know much about Subaru (assuming that’s the VTuber), but did she say she liked this? That seems funny to me since it’s not the most socially acceptable thing. Anyway, this was pretty decent. I thought the ending felt a bit sudden, but I guess it’s a good stopping point.

the author had the GL tag put on the series on bilibili & said it on weibo that the series was 双女主 (GL, but also means 2 female leads) so we went with the GL tag before the male love interest was introduced.

Oh, I just saw this post. So, was the author actually not intentionally baiting then, or is this intentional?

Unsure.

I’m curious whether that phrase is more commonly used for GL or just anything with 2 female leads.

Its more commonly used with the former especially since bilbili's GL tag was also 双女主. It's actually my first time seeing 双女主 being used as 2 female leads instead of GL

I see, that’s definitely interesting then. I’ve seen a lot of baiting before as we all have, but this is a pretty interesting case.

Didn’t this have the yuri tag at first? Maybe I’m remembering wrong though.

Apparently the comic was originally tagged by the author as yuri on Bilibili, but they introduced male love interests later. As such the tag here was changed.

I see, that’s unfortunate. I was looking forward to reading this since it seems pretty unique.

I think it’s interesting and a bit funny that Yuni makes a bunch of manga about cheating and/or toxic relationships even though she’s in a happy relationship. I’ve started looking for yuri on MangaDex recently, and I found an autobiographical manga called Manga de Tsudzuru Yuri na Hibi on that site. Apparently, Yuni is one of the writers along with her partner. Someone in the comments said they’re still together after 11 years, so it’s interesting she’s going with this dark stuff.

I wonder if she had to deal with this kind of stuff in the past… or she could just like writing about it. I guess “write what you know” doesn’t always apply.

Her stuff isn't ordinarily dark, though. I feel like she always thinks it's all cute and fun. To me, it seems like because she enjoys office worker yuri (which she says a lot), that naturally implies some unique situations and relationship dynamics to have fun with.

That’s a good point. They are surprisingly light when you take the subject matter into consideration. I definitely appreciate her office worker yuri since it’s a breath of fresh air compared to all he generic (but mostly still good) yuri out there.

Is this considered a harem now? There’s Maou, Seb, and Sally, though Sally is obviously not even a contender at this point. I guess any other demons and maybe angels that show up will fall for Yashiro too.

You know, this is an irrelevant question, but did Rei have any other friends other than Ami and her friends? I’d assume she left the group if she was ignoring Ami for 3 months, so she was just completely isolated? I don’t completely remember the whole story though, so I’m sure she must’ve at least talked to some other people.

It seems this is ending soon, but it was a pretty good run. It’s a very intriguing ending for sure. I don’t know why, but I’ve been waiting for Watari to talk to her ex-girlfriend at some point to work things out, but I guess that ain’t happening at this point.

the original is here: 僕らは彼女に依存症

somewhere there's a translation of a third of chapter 1 floating around

Oh okay, I’ll look for that translation, and I’ll be waiting for more too. Arai Suniko makes some good stuff.

Also, this extra reminded me of poor Mao. I was thinking before that Aya had another friend that just vanished, and here she is. I don’t remember the last time she showed up; well, even if she actually showed up more recently than I thought, she’s definitely not as important as Chizuru.

There have been other portrayals of bisexual women in stories like Brides of Iberis (which I find quite problematic), and it has a somewhat similar plot to We Are Addicted to Her. There's also Run Away With Me, Girl, and A Lying Bride's Case for Same-Sex Marriage.

run away with me girl is so good

and A lying Bride's Case for Same Sex Marriage for licensed, with the first volume, which had already been scanlated, announced to release in October this year, so who knows when we'll be able to read a (translated) end to the story

Also, I haven't read much of We Are Addicted to Her yet. Did it finish? If so, who does the one with brown hair end up with? :)

that ones finished, yes
now someone just needs to translate it (to a language I can read)

What is We Are Addicted to Her? I looked it up, but I can only find that manhua, Addicted to Her, and a Chinese TV show.

Also, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Who are the three Tarous anyway? Since it’s tagged as alternate reality and gender bender, I assume this is a parody of something, but what is it parodying?

Did you read the notes page at the end?

Wow, I’m dumb. I completely missed that notes page somehow. Thanks! It makes more sense now lol
