If someone emphatically tells me over and over and over again they only love one person even if I offer to be their side piece mistress and they continue to tell me they only like one person I think I would have quit liking that person on my own I wouldn't have to be told to stop I still think she's just trying to play the victim
If she continued to allow herself to be used for the other person's gain even if that person kept telling them over and over again they could never return their feelings because they only love one person that's kind of on her for continuing to be used it's like she expected her to throw her a bone I mean I agree she should have out right told her to stop liking her but at the same time sometimes you don't need to be told
Again sorry I just never liked lily as a character I thought she was annoying the second she was introduced and the fact that she fell in love with her so quickly and continued to stay in love with her when Rae never even looked her way and continue to just be that annoying person that got in the way of our main couple over and over again so they couldn't even have a alone time that's kind of the worst character to me in all of manga and I hate when they introduce those kind of love triangle-esque characters for no reason other than to put a wedge between the main characters or cause jealousy that doesn't need to be there
I will say I did enjoy jealous Claire when she would randomly blurt out about not taking Rae or her belonging to her but either way Lily overstayed her welcome far too long and now it looks like Lily caught the eye of the creepy cousin who in the novel raped someone that they kind of just played off in the manga that does make me feel bad for Lily.
I thought Lilly was pretty funny although I get your point and I’m more lenient toward these love triangle-esque characters than most (unless it’s a guy I guess). Yeah, Lilly definitely should’ve given up a long time ago, but it is true that Rae should’ve given up a long time ago too but somehow succeeded anyway. Also, who the hell is this cousin? I do not remember that at all. I assume you’re talking about Manaria since she’s the only other person that shows up this chapter, but I don’t remember anything about any of that.
Art style reminds me of a visual novel game
Hanekoto worked on a couple, including Curse of Kudan. maybe that's why
I never knew about Curse of Kudan, but it seems pretty interesting. Why was it banned from Steam though? I thought Steam just let devs put whatever they want on Steam these days. I thought it was weird since that’s on the Nintendo eShop but not Steam, so I looked it up and apparently a lot more games have been banned than I realized recently. Why though? It doesn’t seem like it’s even NSFW at all unless the Switch version is censored or something… and there’s some far more NSFW things on Steam anyway, so I don’t get their logic here even if this one is though it doesn’t seem like it is.
Prism Garden is an exhibition in Tokyo about Yuri! It's about a month long and only access with a ticket in a timeframe!
Many yuri artists made an art there, some even made merchandise to sell only for this event and signed mangas!
For example there is merch for Asumi-chan Is Interested In Lesbian Brothels!
https://www.melonbooks.info/event/2026/prism-garden/On X just search with this tag: #プリズムガーデン
Mochi Au Lait duo only made this one art for this event! Nothing more.
Thanks! That sounds like an amazing event. I hope there’s more stuff like this in the future since I can’t go to his one. Well, I can’t realistically go to any of them, but who knows, things might change in the future… anyway, this is great and I’ll look into some of the art more and all with that tag. Thanks!
Well Kurohime is still kinda different with the potion... while the other had romantic effects like kissing and such...at Kurohime it was only the "revenge" got spiced up!
That's a good point. I went back and reread her introductory chapter, and I forgot how wild she was in the beginning. She went through some good character devleopment too for sure. I reread Rin's chapters too, and I also forgot she's friends with Arare or at least knows her. I wonder how Rin would react if she ever finds out how Arare isolated Toudou and that Arare is apparently in love with Toudou too (though the love thing is… complicated). Rin would definitely not be happy about that though I guess no one but Arare knows about her plan anyway. I think it'd be funny if Rin found out and challenged Arare too like she challenged Kurohime, but that's obviously not happening since Arare has already been forgotten and she's not even a contender (for good reason). I think it'd be funny if Ruruka ended up with Arare too like you said. Also, what is that Prism Garden event anyway? I can't find much information about that.
Also, from rereading the second Kurohime chapter, Yuzu got exposed for having a mommy complex. I wonder what the story behind that is… I don’t think that’s ever been brought up again, but I’m sure it will at some point. I didn’t realize how long the story’s been building up to the summer festival, so it’s pretty satisfying that that got a satisfactory ending.

You know, I don’t like that Kurohime never found out about the potion. Yeah, at this point, it’s not the potion anymore, but it doesn’t seem right. At least Rin knows about it and so does Mukai and they didn’t take the potion, but I don’t think anyone else does. I guess Ruruka knows about it if she counts. I don’t think Toudou gave the potion to Yanagi, but I might be wrong there. It seems like everyone else is doing their own thing now. Hopefully Kurohime finds out at some point though, regardless, I’ll still support the ship since it’s good and it’s going to be poly.
Kurohime was indeed dosed, way back when, while Rin artfully evaded the dosing not once but twice. Rin and Mukai do know about the love poison, and the latter actually took it knowingly (while already falling for Toudou, so it's hard to say how much of an actual effect was had). Yanagi meanwhile has indeed not tasted it at all, as you surmised; she's just an unashamedly forward kind of gal. This series being more thoughtful than one might think, I'd be surprised if Kurohime previously being slipped the love drug doesn't get brought up, possibly as they go through the polyam negotiations.
Two things I have to note upon a quick reread of things:
A: Toudou's character development. Way back in chapter 9 she was ecstatic to have girls fighting over her despite being very much
in the closetnot into yuri at the time. Now it isn't just people giving her attention it's people she cares about in turmoil so her reaction is hell no.B: Rin's immediate laser focus on righting things, initially from the attitude of 'Who TF was making my girl cry?' Like, we know from cops and robbers that she's protective in that way, but still nice to see.
I'd say that Rin is the least... questionable, I guess, one since she never took the potion at all. I forgot that Mukai took it, but that's not that bad since she was clearly already falling for her and took it knowingly like you said. It's too bad for Yanagi though. I feel like she won't be going out with Toudou since she has something going on with the vice president now, but I guess it's good she has someone, at least. I see your point about the series being thoughtful at all, so I definitely think that Kurohime will find out at some point now. I wonder if everyone else who was dosed will find out at some point though they're not as relevant since they're not interested in Toudou anymore (which is good since it seems to show the other girls are in love with her even without the potion). Also, I need to do a quick reread of the series too to appreciate the character development more and all. It is pretty cool how she developed so much, and I definitely didn't expect that in the beginning. And it is definitley nice how protective Rin is of Toudou. That's another thing I definitely wasn't expecting when Rin showed up for the first time a long time ago. It's a pretty wholesome relationship compared to how it started.
You know, I don’t like that Kurohime never found out about the potion. Yeah, at this point, it’s not the potion anymore, but it doesn’t seem right. I feel like this this chapter didn’t have a bunch of plans they don’t remember scheduling, but it’s okay to cancel sometimes. I guess she cancelled the homework plan since she didn’t do anything though. Anyway, definitely another great chapter!
What kind of offensive art did the creator of Bad Girl like? Can’t find any information on that, so I hope it’s not too bad but I guess it’ll be like this . I looked up the Nakamura thing and that one’s unfortunate for the mangaka. I’d say this situation is worse though, and this does gross me out quite a bit. I mean, I guess he can do whatever he wants, but I was already losing interest and this definitely doesn’t help. The story is confusing for no reason since it’s just jumping around way too much, and I definitely think it could’ve been better with a unique premise like this…

I’m very disappointed in this manga… I thought that green yuri would become blue yuri in the chapter called Feeling Blue and I forgot about red yuri too in Seeing Red. Okay, dumb jokes about common phrases aside, yeah, I agree that this is kind of unfocused right now and I wonder if some of the characters from high school will show up again like other people were wondering. I still like it a lot though, so I think and hope it’ll be more satisfying when everything comes together.
I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely everyone was treating Ai Xu in the prologue and in the present day and all including Zhiyi even if she is… overbearing. I mean, they seemed pretty encouraging for the most part except in that reading aloud in class scene where they were laughing a bit. At least they cared when she passed out though. Anyway, it’s unfortunate that she dealt with being ostracized in… I guess before elementary school or in elementary school but before whenever that cake scene in the prologue takes place. It makes sense though since they needed something to explain why she has extreme social anxiety now.
I don’t remember Akira being in love with Ayako in the original, but it’s been a while since I read the parts with her in it, so yeah, I definitely just forgot. I think it’s more interesting and funnier to have a third person in there now. I did reread the later chapters though to remember where it ended, and I guess this is the best place to ask questions about it. Why exactly did Asuka stop being friends with Rui in… the second year of middle school? I think it was when she was dating whoever her senpai was. I was wondering if it skipped forward a year and she drifted apart from Rui for some reason in the present day, but it seems like that whole thing is a flashback. I guess it happened a while ago and they started being friends again later on if I understood all that correctly.

You know, I was wondering why some of Yamabe’s friends call her Yamabey for a while now and I finally remembered to actually ask why they call her. I guess it’s an affectionate nickname but yeah, does it have a deeper meaning?
was pretty conflicted on "That really is some kiddy shit!" It is the 2nd time I've swore in this translation. A more literal TL would be, "You're like a couple of kids playing house!" But Aoyama's language is messy in general (she's a -ssu type) and the abrupt tonal shift demanded something heavy.
What does being a -ssu type mean? I would assume it means she speaks in an impolite way, but not sure. I found stuff about ossu and uissu when I looked it up, but not exactly sure about the meaning of that way. Anyway, I think adding some swearing there was definitely effective.
Also, the new Bluesky doodles are very interesting. I wonder if she’ll ever find out about the darker parts of their story too, but probably not. I was surprised Aoyama was the one bullying Kasumi… I assumed that Aoyama was bullied in the past when I saw that tag and was so lonely she left that letter and then was depressed since Yamabe said no. What actually happened was unexpected for sure.
I’m also surprised that Mizuki is from a rich family. Since Sayori said they were both people who won’t make it, I thought she was also from a middle-class family. It seems Sayori is. I think there was a part before about how she’s from a middle-class family whereas a lot of the other girls there are from rich family members. I mean, that line still makes sense though since Mizuki was clearly an outcast too who everyone apparently laughed at… on a completely unrelated unrelated note, I remember hearing that Sayori wasn’t a real name and that Dan Salvato just made it up for DDLC. Clearly, I was misinformed. Looking at her Wikipedia page, it does say that he intended her name to be a fusion of Sayuri and Saori even though Sayori is a real name, so I guess that was what they were talking about.

Why does some random girl have a photo of Hina’s brother?
She does not, Hina has it and they just snatched her phone away I'm pretty sure :P
Ah I see, that makes sense now. I thought it was that girl next to her that was talking, but I see now that Hina was saying she found at least one photo. Thanks, that definitely confused me a bit.
When did Niina accuse the president of ordering her to mess with the light music club? I was skimming through the past few chapters and I didn’t see that after Niina was exposed as the traitor or whatever. I guess it happened off-screen then unless I missed something? Anyway, I’m guessing the president suspects Riko and was insulting her to piss her off and make her confess by accident. It clearly is her doing based on chapter 48. I guess something happened to Kameya off-screen or she at least got dropped from the group after all those warnings. Anyway, definitely a great chapter! The school festival has been going on for over a year now, and I think this was a good ending to that arc… though I feel bad for Kurohime for sure.

Why does some random girl have a photo of Hina’s brother? I admit I thought this was an all girls school, but I went back to the first chapter and I can see that it’s not. So, was he really popular when he went there or something? Also, I still have faith in the author. Her previous story got extremely frustrating for sure, but I still enjoyed reading it. The characters in An Aside Told to You started dating real quick, so maybe this will be a lot faster this time around… yeah, that one had its own share of frustrating miscommunication too, but I still have faith.
Stained_With_Yuri.zip is a pretty unusual title for sure. Who’s getting stained with yuri, and why is this a zip? Okay, anyway, this was pretty good, and I also think that some of the chapter names seem interesting.
The only explanation I can think of is that the author originally saved it on their computer with underscores, thought it looked good, and then just changed the name from Stained with Yuri to Stained_With_Yuri.zip.
Yeah, that explanation makes sense. I guess it does make the title a lot more memorable in a way.

This reminds me of that one-shot here where the main character could see the red string of fate between her and her teacher who was already married and her friend was also in love with her. That’s the opposite of this one since that one was about fighting destiny while this one will be about embracing destiny, I guess. I think the artstyle and characters look vaguely similar too, although it’s been a while since I read that one so I might just be misremembering. I don’t remember the name, so does anyone know what that one’s called? At any rate, while I do prefer “fighting destiny” stories, this one’s interesting and I definitely like it a lot so far. Attempting to fight destiny is a great premise too for sure.
Edit: So, that one’s The Thing That Binds You and I by Hino Arashi. Yeah, I definitely like that premise more since she goes with her friend who’s not her fated lover, but this one’s still interesting. I still do think the art styles look a bit similar though. There was also You Are My Soulmate by Takemiya Jin. I can’t deny that I still think Omegaverse is a bit weird even though I’ve read and liked a bunch of Omegaverse yuri at this point. Anyway, that was the only time I remember where I thought the Omegaverse aspect actually made the story better with the whole picking someone over her soulmate thing.

They're whitewashing a rat, a piece of shit, a total piece of garbage—someone who's absolutely horrible as a person. It's on the same level as the mangaka projecting themselves as forgiving their ex's cheating in a manga that focuses more on the cheating ex than on the main couple.
I'm relieved that this girl isn't falling for this piece of trash, please let me believe that Japanese women's tastes aren't that terrible
Uh, are you in the right thread?
I would assume they’re talking about whatever that guy’s name is who the other girl was in love with though who knows. Well, if that is what they’re talking about, I was thinking something kind of similar after reading these theories here. It would suck if the mangaka justified his actions by saying he was just hypnotized or something like that. It would be even worse if that letter thing where she falls out of love doesn’t happen this loop and they actually do get together. I guess that’s probably gonna happen though given the nature of this story.

Seven Seas apparently dropped the series at volume 21, but I don't recall any of the girls' romantic situations changing up to that point. The only couple, incestuous or not, are the two who've been together since the beginning.
I see, well, that’s good at least. I guess it’s unfortunate that there’s been no progress on any of the other relationships, but if that’s the price that must be paid to not have all that incestuous stuff, that’s fine.
I forgot I commented here and, damn, that was 8 years ago and this is still going on… well, anyway, it looks like I was complaining and asking about that weird situation with Tama. I sure hope nothing happened after that, so does anyone know what happened? TV Tropes doesn’t mention anything that happened after that. The wiki doesn’t mention that at all. I suppose that’s a good sign since it seems the best option for the author is to just ignore that. I forgot about all the other fucked-up parts too, so I will definitely not be reading this again, but I’m still curious.
This doesn’t seem like it fits well with the anthology’s lowlife and “women at the height of rudeness” theme since this one is more wholesome and not really trashy at all. I was definitely expecting a more toxic relationship like the other ones, especially since Sal Jiang does a lot of that kinda stuff. Still a great story though for sure, and I’d be interested in reading a sequel where they actually get together or something
