I love the boxcutter duo; they're so perfect for each other. I could totally read a whole series just about them.

Really happy to see more of Mia & Yamabe too. Their story was so sweet, and I really wanted to see more of them together.

Another incredible chapter. It's nice to see Aoyama start moving past what happened to her, processing her emotions and apologizing to Kasumi.

I also enjoyed seeing Haruyo being so ready to throw hands.

A very nice series, that I enjoyed quite a bit! Even if the last several chapters felt like kind of a fever dream, the way they went from surreal horror to abrupt time-skip. XD

Oh god, I was so not ready for buff Karasuma.

I'm so terrible at remembering characters. Is "Neko-chan" one of Akebi's classmates? I'm getting thrown off a bit with how she looks nearly identical to Akebi at the beginning of the chapter.

I'm just gonna guess that the best friend is secretly the one girl. That feels like the most obvious route.

OMG, Umi's face when Shou gave her the chocolate was too good.

And dang, poor Ibu's got it bad. The series has made no secret of her having a crush on Umi, but this chapter is probably the most obvious its been.

I really liked this story! It's exactly the style of angst I enjoy. My only complaint is that it's only 7 chapters. XD

Hopefully it does well enough that the author considers a sequel, because I'd really like to see a continuation.

Oof, looks like we're in for another dark arc. I'm worried about what's in store next; the way Aoyama acted in this chapter immediately came off to me as someone who had been a victim of past sexual abuse (though just to be clear, that by no means excuses her actions here). Yurika's smile at the end feels so sinister.

And poor Kasumi. She was so excited to talk about her girlfriend, only to be made fun of and attacked. She was already shown to be ashamed of her more physical feelings, and I can only imagine this will further exacerbate that. I hope she's able to talk about what happened with Haruyo and is able to find some comfort again, though I sadly suspect she'll end up just bottling it up inside.

From the synopsis, I was expecting something more like Futari Escape. I was not ready for that many feels.

Oh nice, a new story from the same author as An OL at Her Limit and a College Girl! This one seems like it's going to be significantly angstier; I'm looking forward to more.

But in all seriousness, I really enjoyed this series. Manatsu was an absolute delight as a protagonist, with all her silly expressions making me laugh constantly throughout. I can't wait to see whatever Amazaki Suika does next.

What a wonderful chapter. I started out the chapter with a small smile from seeing an update, and as the chapter went on, it gradually grew into what's now a big, stupid grin, that'll probably last until I go to sleep.

I enjoyed this scene in the novels, and it's fun to see it illustrated here.

I don't know what it says about me that the ending to this got a good chuckle out of me XD

I like to think the black haired girl isn't actually crushing on anyone. She's just an intense yuri shipper, and she's going to be distraught when she realizes she might be breaking up her OTP.

altho I liked the Hario thing, I think he's already seen through both Ema and Takara waaaay better than they see through each other lol, I wonder if he'll confront her next chapter

Yeah, I also suspect that Hario has seen through what's going on between Ema and Takara. The timing of this conversation, and the way he sought her out, seems to point to that.

I think he probably will confront her, but not in an accusatory "back off" kind of way; that really doesn't seem like it would be his style from everything we've seen so far. I expect it to be a more indirect thing along the lines of "I'm prepared to support her no matter what. Can you say you're prepared to do the same?"

Wow, it's been a hot minute since I've read something with a character as punchable as the dad here.

GL live action has made some ground recently. I wouldn't have guessed this one would get picked up, but I do really like it. The most recent I'm aware of is Even Though We're Adults and s2 of AyaHiro so this one is definitely a different tone.

Also "She Loves To Cook, She Loves To Eat" had 2 seasons I believe. Wish we could get these on Streaming in the West...

AyaHiro at least got an official worldwide English release through GagaOOLala. I wish more JP live action dramas weren't region-locked though. Or better yet, if they took a cue from Thai GLs and just uploaded episodes to Youtube. AFAIK, there aren't even any groups doing fansubs for the live action for this series, which is a bummer because the PVs looked fun.
