I was going to add it, but i realized in the story (in the chinese raws) it wasn't stated if this was a military setting. In the story, the author uses "长官" like a whole lot, and that can be translated into like 10 different things depending on context. The military tag wont be added until I'm sure its a military setting.

长官 -> officer, captain, general, commander, leader, chief, and etc.

I genuinely hate authors that think "you did these deeds, so there for you being a slave / sexually abused is justified". It's always an excuse for a fetish that revolves around reducing someone to nothing, along with it removing their ability to consent. The whole setup in these types of stories is always a poor excuse to sweep to rape under the rug. Someone drugged in this state can't consent, and regardless of how someone wronged you making them into a slave and assaulting them is disgusting.

What makes this even more unsettling , and frankly unrealistic, is that it’s supposedly meant to develop into a romance between the two "rivals," as suggested by the main story cover. However, I fail to see how such a relationship could be anything but toxic, especially considering how the dark-haired lead saved the other main lead with ulterior motives.

What's up with all these bad bilibili comics? It's gotten to the point where I wonder if I should even bother giving them a try when I come across the longstrip tag. I don't know if it's just what happens to make it to this site, but most Chinese gl comics I've come across have this same superficially pretty artstyle, abhorrent world-building and clumsy dialogue. It's just like opening the webtoon app to see all these royal/isekai romances that feel copy-pasted from one another. I get that this is a fetishist story, so I wouldn't have too high expectations when it comes to storytelling, but this seems to be a problem that plagues the webcomic industry as a whole. I'm tired of seeing these low-effort comics everywhere. The funniest thing about this one in particular is that it probably won't even have any NSFW parts, because it's hosted on bilibili, even though the whole setup is clearly just an excuse for the author's pet fetish lol

A much cheaper way to prevent leaks is to just shoot her in the head. The military is nothing if not efficient, and they have all the guns. At the very least, if they care so much about what the former general might have known, they should not put her amnesiac self in the vicinity of enemy officers, who (as the first chapter demonstrates) can take her captive without any resistance from anyone present. In short, this whole premise still makes zero sense apart from titillating and gratifying a very particular set of kinks. ^^

It remains to be seen whether there is even any truth to that. The brainwashing comments come from the humans witnessing her behavior after being given the aphrodisiac, and her own words that she doesn't remember may either be a temporary condition caused by that, or simply a lie, as whenever we actually see her thoughts, she's still at least trying to resist the drug and scheme her way out of her predicament, even if mostly unsuccessfully.

Both GL and BL have some similar issues. Out of curiosity, I’ve read a few BL stories to see if there were any patterns like the ones in GL. In both genres, the characters are often drawn with unrealistically perfect looks that conveniently fit Chinese beauty standards. There’s also a tendency to fetishize the characters in ways that can feel dehumanizing.
The main difference is that BL tends to be more intense, sometimes involving physical assault. There’s also a clear dynamic between the characters, where the "top" is usually portrayed as strong and muscular, while the "bottom" is smaller and more delicate. I’m not trying to bash BL as a genre , it’s just interesting to see these storytelling choices. Since it’s all fiction, there’s room for creative freedom depending on the artist’s vision and how much they want to lean into realism of incorporating same sex relationships.

Yeah, no.... I've seen this plot many times before and It never did it for me. Very easy pass on this one...

I don't think she's actually amnesiac and is just faking it to get out of her predicament. I think the female lead also thinks she's faking it too, that's why they're playing a sort of cat and mouse game right now (which kind of ties into the title about hidden intentions showing). Knowing MC is fully aware of what's going on makes the story easier to read for the enemies to lovers trope. It is a shaky start but im still interested to see how it goes.

Hm, not my thing either. I read the first three pages to evaluate the toxicity for my own, but got bored by the tropes and kind of soulless art. I guess if you are into the drama and strict roles that characters fit into, maybe this is not all that bad.

While I am guessing this story is primarily an expression of the authors' fetishes, from the world-building perspective, I find it strange that a soldier would keep such petty grudges against another soldier, especially if they are both generals. Also, why memory-wipe a commanding general for losing a war? If they committed war crimes, sure, arrange a tribunal or hand her over to the winners directly; otherwise, just demote them. Surely, the state has more profitable jobs for a highly-educated, star-ranked veteran than prostitution?
