Huh huh. You know, it's not the first time I read something similar. How it's not that hard to go and ask someone out, to figure out your feelings, to ignore the fear of rejection because it's worth it to take the risk. Heard those from my family and friends both. Guess I'm not a real person, then.
I didn't actually say any of that, so I don't know how to respond. You created an entirely different, far more personal argument, then responded to it.
As long as she explains her thought process in detail in the next chapter because it would be very funny.
Yeah that would definitely salvage it a bit and could be funny. I'm really hoping it doesn't go the expected route where she thinks of it as a rejection and then we're many chapters with another misunderstanding. Although having someone push away your kiss would rightfully make you assume you're rejected.
