I feel like there could've been an arc where Yuzu had to confront her fears - if she was afraid of being rejected outright, or if there was a bigger risk to their friendship if they got together. The latter, to me, feel more believable of a direction? Like she loves her so much but is afraid of fumbling her and that ruining not only their romantic relationship, but friendship too.

Thank you, I feel like I’m tweaking out for caring so much but also with how every one else chalking it up to misunderstanding, it really feels like Yuzu rejecting Minami was building up towards a role reversal where Yuzu is the pursuer while Minami is more of a passive role, but because things were dragged out for too long, ppl lost interest so it wasn’t able to go that way
