I knew there was a reason Arai sumikos been my favourite artist for years.

I keep dipping in and out of this series but it seems mostly incredibly frustrating. Am I off base with that?

I feel like everything that's been frustrating about this series has been tolerable up until this point but this chapter has immediately shot this manga into genuinely frustrating and hard to enjoy.

There were some great facial expressions this chapter, but I think Aya's at the end takes the cake. It's super complicated and a bit conflicted; you know she's feeling something, but I'm not sure what it is and I don't think she knows either. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but there are many chapters that directly follow each other like this; there's usually a bit of a time gap between one ending and the next starting, even if they're in the middle of something important, right?

times kind of mercurial in this one. if it's on one story thread or something important is happening the chapters will often string together as long as they need to but then often when a story beat finishes there can be actual time skips of weeks or even months. sometimes chapter to chapter there can be little time gaps but it feels like just the next day or entirely undefined.

I do have to say I am a bigger fan of the I quit smoking because this cute girl wants to be my girlfriend trope

Ya I feel like yuzus point of view coming in as the twist is so late and with zero play around it that my only response to it is " Jesus Christ this is exhausting"

I genuinely feel like if it was established earlier we could be at the exact same spot as we are right now and I'd be significantly less tired of the journey to reach this point.

Man, once the main couple got together, this manga turned into an Ouroboros of lovelessness and unrequited feelings.

It's really hard not to draw comparisons to can't defy the lonely girl since both series have the MCs together before the end but at least that series side couple is an actual side couple and didn't essentially steal 1/3rd of the chapters from the MCs

It's hard to see where this manga is going or when it will end because we don't even really know what's going on with the MCs any more. Some times it feels like the author is trying to superimpose two different manga into one title, one that's turbo fluff and another that's extreme melodrama.

Based on the description of the character I can get the first 6 months but the following 6 are insane and honestly don't make alot of sense because Ena would probably continue to complain to mizuki about not getting a reply and some one would have to put two and two together.

Ya I feel like this series was told it needed to end or something because it's going 0-100 in a blink but it is what it is. Honestly progress is better than stagnation.

This is possibly my favorite story on the site, at the very least it's my comfort read because keep coming back to it over and over, and it's good every time

Ya it's pretty impressive if you were just doing a cold read of the manga start to finish and couldn't see the comment count by the time you got to the end there's no way you'd guess it's caused such an uproar.

My fucking god the sudden introduction of shit disturber characters is the worst trope/ plot device in the history of romance manga.

I understand the ooooh she's going to be the driving force that makes yuzu realize her own feeling but that doesn't make it any less of a shit tool.

I feel like especially shit like this happens too much in romcom type romances where the author can't seem to find a way to push their characters without using a melodrama drama genre trope.

Ayaka is unrelenting in the best of ways

This web comic is so bad, it's kind of good. Kind of.

I keep reading but I don't know why I keep reading it.

This is kinda wild and I really hope it swings the doors open on non Yuri series having Yuri couples, the series handles it so well and doesn't make a big deal of it it's just "look these girls are in love, what of it"

Nanjou's conduct conduct with Riri is so weird now considering how clearly she had refused her earlier. I feel like both nanjou and Riri are taking actions that in the end are only going to hurt Riri.

Also in general it's frustrating because the last few chapters are either retconing how strong of a refusal nanjou gave her or completely pointless.

Ayaka is being very inconsiderate and pushy. Public confessions are kind of awful because they put societal pressure onto the receiver and involve bystanders in drama.
She could come out by herself to prove her point but now rumours are going to affect Hiroko, so she went and landed her in the hot water.
Besides, does she think that Ayaka would immediately get together with her if her baggage was gotten rid of? We know that yes, that is probably the case, but for her it is not certain.

Ya I really had initially expected it to be "hey everyone in the office I am a lesbian" and then through everyone being cool with it organically show Hiroko that it's okay for her to come out now too.
