Not all cats do this. My tabby doesn't climb on tables, counters, or the fridge and thus doesn't really test gravity.

I think its pretty obvious that the focus of this series is the times she does act like a cat which is what, a couple of hours a day (except special occasions like when she is in heat)? What she does during the remainder of her day hasnt been shown except a few panels here and there.
