So, how do you bond with your daughters?
Mom #1: I make them cake.
Mom #2: I watch TV with them.
This Mom: I draw lesbian porn of them together.

I'm still hoping the manga itself ends up being the book Mom drew...

This is the final chapter! Extras are said to be coming some months down the line, we'll update the status at that point.

Kinda let down it never went anywhere- but I did kinda assume it wouldnt- it was always mostly just a comedy.

First Page: An Unexpected Mother End For the Final Chapter!

Yeah, I don't think the author could've possibly been more obvious about the series being cancelled, short of actually drawing all the characters as axes. It always makes me feel weird to see authors with clearly-cancelled works writing optimistic messages and trying to sound upbeat in their final chapters. Like, I get that it'd be a massive contract violation to write rants about dumb consumers and unfair publishers, but it just feels odd to see someone striving to act all chill and calm when something they've poured so much effort into is just hacked short. That's the industry for you, I guess.

Well it's not like it had a conplex plot or anything

And so it just kinda stops. Maybe the extras include something more satisfying?

Damn. Comic Cune is brutal. Are they just purging the yuri to reorient the magazine? With Ayakashiko gone, that leaves boob manga and Bright and Cheery Amnesia. And that latter has totally dropped any pretense of a plot.

I knew this was a true story all along.

I feel like I'm out of the loop I take it a bunch of series got cancelled?

Also I mean while B&C Amnesia doesn't have a "plot" direction exactly, I at least enjoy it because it's super fluffy. So I hope it doesn't get cancelled.

Is this a reference to some other series, or just a pun on how canceled series get "axed"?

one of the most unsatisfying ending ever, in my opinion... I mean, the situation here is pretty much exactly the same as how it was from the begining of the book. The most "important" change in their lives is that the mom went back to writing doujins, it's not even about the sisters. For these two, the only "big" change is that the big sis got a part time job, yay... (and that's assuming she did get it back).

Their relationship is pretty much exactly the same.

also, wasn't this a webcomic at first ? Hope the author keep the story going there and kinda show that you better stay away from the allure of being published :x

But it left so many lose ends, in fact the problem that this ending confronted was one that arose just in the previous chapter

Ayakashiko more or less wrapped up naturally, only one character didn't get their growth moments. B&C doesn't have a hook to keep average readers on board anymore now that the drama resolved. It doesn't mean for sure the series is ending, but it isn't a good sign that a new arc hasn't started.

I could also be wrong. Ayakashiko ran for a long time, and this series didn't feel like much of a sales driver. And Shimeji Simulation is still going. It's a weird magazine.

kinda show that you better stay away from the allure of being published

Well, you either make money for your work and try to make a living, you give it away for free, or you sell a few to sustain your hobby. The allure of being published is that of having a meaningful job. Rather worth the gambit
