Then the repetition must serve a different purpose. To retrace the steps and move beyond the line that the last timeline could not pass. Perhaps this time they will go to the festival together. Maybe this time they will not merely hug, but kiss in the night. Although we already had their kiss, even though we already know their love is true and reciprocated, if they declare it at that spot it will be like a send-off for both iterations of this story combined.
I wanted to hate this idea when I first thought of it but you really won me over, here. If it is indeed written to be a differing yet referential version of that same scene, I think some of my misgivings with this series would go out the window, and I'd be most pleased to see it off on a strong note.
I wonder why there's no actual nudity anymore in this series. Did they ever say why? I've just been curious for quite a while now but didn't know if I should here, as some might not like that. But I mean, this series did have nudity in the earlier chapters, so it's not like that should be controversial right?
It changed magazine multiple times, so I'd imagine the standards were different magazine to magazine. That probably helped, but seems Kishi's entire style and storytelling methods have changed a lot too! A decade will do that.
You didn't hold back but you're still kinda all over the nose on this surely.
The setting is legit a modern society, so it's safe to assume supposed to somewhat reflect reality, it doesn't have to no but it is and why not, It's the authors choice. In any case, with a setting like this, it's fairly obvious how people will approach the topic.
If you don't like that, fine, do it your own way I guess, or just read a hentai doujin works, that are out there. Not everything has to be an nsfw pedo fanservice fantasy just perpetuated from the fact that "HuRr It'S MaNgA iT's NoT ReAl!¡!" so.. that means they can't decide how things pan for themselves. It's their works not yours lol.
This response is really over the point, and certainly does not comply with rule 1. Please keep the accusations and "hurr durr" to yourself next time. Thanks.
Ah, well, that's awkward. Same-time posts are always a bother but luckily I think you did all right. Thanks.
A bit of a clarifying note, though, because sometimes me hopping in kills conversation. That's not my intention at all. The argument is perfectly fine and I have no issues with it continuing. At this point we're not really talking about the story, but it's related enough to be fine with me. So long as insults stay out of it, and we stay sorta on topic, please continue.
Please avoid requesting, asking, begging for releases, and always do so respectfully. From my understanding, the editor for this series is currently busy. Please exercise patience and I'm sure we'll have updates soon. Thanks.
Is this the appropriate place to tell you a series has been licensed? Because it turns out "I am not a Succubus!" has been licensed by Seven Seas, and the first volume is slated for release on 5/3/2022.
Yes, thank you! We'll follow whatever the scanlator(s) choose to do for this one.
Why don't we keep the pages for all works removed from the reader (like this) again? It'd make easier to find those orphaned threads...
On the same topic, I'm not sure there're enough cases to justify this, but maybe we can use a Licensed tag or something so we can spot those more promptly?
That works for collections where there's a landing page, but for oneshots you would go straight to the first page, which is no longer there. That's what confused me on Ikenai Hito -- it looks these were released as oneshots, so they would no longer be an active link.
Absolutely correct. Outside of replacing licensed oneshots with empty dummy chapters (which has drawbacks (though they may be worth it anyway)), there's not much to do besides remove them.
In general, we do have and use a Licensed tag regularly, which is searchable as well. Flower and the Star is not licensed, and the artist has not followed up on her desire to release an English language version at any point since the announcement, as far as I know. Unfortunate, but mayhaps a Removed from the reader tag would be apt as well.
Hey mods, I just suggested the stalking tag for this manga but I accidentally hit the button for just chapter 1, when I meant to suggest that tag for the whole thing. Is there a way to remove your own suggestions?
(Disregard this message, if you'd rather just apply the tag only to chapter 1 anyway, obviously.)
No worries! We're always keeping this possibility in mind. The series is a bit tricky in that the stalking is very relevant to some stuff early, but then less relevant later...mostly. I'm fine with it as a series tag overall. Thanks!
Pardon me for having missed some things in this thread. Anyone is welcome to head to the FAQ thread to talk about rules and modding. Responses and references here will be removed. Thank you for your understanding.
Nope. But, before you get to the heart of your screw-up, we get some blah-blah-blah:
So far, that theory (which could have been expressed in one brief sentence)
Get that all in your head at once.
Talking down to others who have differing opinions from you does not make your argumentation look any better. It's also not in compliance with rule 1. It is entirely possible to have civil, reasoned conversations without denigrating your intellectual opponents. I hope you'll keep that in mind next time. You may consider this point for your posts on this same page as well. Thank you.
Which is why I said "execution ALONE doesn't make a story enjoyable." Ideally, you want the whole package. Though, characters I can like is the most important to me.
Anyway, it looks like you're arguing for the sake of arguing. You like what you like and I like what I like. We don't have to agree.
I'm just surprised at how many 21st century readers seem to agree with the mid-1950s censors who crippled US comics for a generation by a literal rule that "good must always triumph over evil."
Not every post deems a response, it was really not necessary to continue this. Kazu-kun was dropping it. That's usually a good sign to do the same. Your mockery of 0economist afterwards is no good either. Again, it is entirely possible to disagree or even disregard entirely without spoiling the entire conversation. Thank you.
In what order do items appear when I add them to my Reading Lists? I can't tell if it's by date added to my list or release date or something else entirely.
Is there any plan to add the option to alphabetize them?
They're ordered by whatever date they were posted on the site. I definitely would like that option; I only recently started using lists and I think sorting options is a top priority.
Edit: Is it standard to get rid of anything associated with a manga that gets pulled from the reader? I had occasion to go looking for Ikenai Hito recently, and I just realized that it looks as if all associated discussion also vanished.
Hmm...no, it's not standard at all. Some threads may be hidden from public view for any number of reasons, but unless they were legally forced to, I can't think of why discussion threads would be remove entirely for content no longer on the reader. I did search and I found this? And this and that. Is that everything...?
Whatever the above knucklehead(s) are up to I have no idea, and care less, but I do want to say that of the series that are labeled Het but not also Yuri or any other non-binary/non-binary-adjacent tags, I'm really grateful to have learned about Ikoku Nikki here on Dynasty, because it's really, really good.
(Although it has picked up a Lesbian sidecouple since it was added.) [Predictive text wanted that to be Lesbian sidecar, which might apply to Girls' Last Tour.]
In any case, I love and fully support Dynasty's "Manga we want to have here, predominantly yuri" policy.
And thanks for the reminder to check on Ikoku Nikki! Missed a new chapter there.

I have been searching for this one shot for a while and have not found anything. I believe it released somewhere around 2018-19. What I remember from the one shot is it was set in some alternate universe and the main character was staying with a host family of sorts. They greet each other with some made up word. I remember in the oneshot it was raining and the two girls stuck as home end up cuddling. Please help me find this it has been bothering me nonstop.
