Interesting read. Definitely cringed a lot and had a few legit LOL moments. Surprisingly wholesome by the end. Chat reaction was hilarious. If this happened irl this would definitely go down in history as one of THE face reveal streams of all time.
I think the ending is quite sad. They (the audience) is going to unfollow
Or well, you can see it in two different ways, if you read the chat you can interpret the last part as unsuscribed, or you can interpret it as a new audience aka a new follower
or you can interpret it as a new audience aka a new follower
I don't know if that's a positive thing or not. It could be seen as them being supportive, on the other hand there are "fans" of Streamers/Youtubers that actively seek to make the life and health of the person they're following worse. They view the person's life becoming worse as the actual entertainment and it's really disturbing.

As much as I appreciate the translator's notes, I'm still not sure whether what I read was intentionally wholesome, or a mean spirited "parody" by somebody with such horribly bad takes they ended up proving what they disagree with on accident.
Also, interesting ambiguity in the last panel, where it's not clear whether people subscribe or unsubscribe. (Tbh, probably both.)

Nobody writes something this detailed unless it's coming from a real place.

I thought he's getting more followers for his videos (I thought the click is to subscribe his channel).
It should feel creepy but oddly it's not.
He's not using his Vtuber account to scam people around or do bad things, just singing and interacting with his audience.
He seems like a nice guy, but he believes he's Akumu,a young girl in the body of an old man's (but he doesn't seem to know that he is an old man.. dysphoria?).
Feels bad to read. I can't even begin to parce it, from a literary analysis standpoint or politically because it feels so frustrating. might be a first for me.
This made me feel sad but also very weirded out at the same time...
But tbh, sometimes people just want to escape from their reality and be a cute girl on the internet, I guess.
There are old trans women who show up at the events with all the younger trans women. Some are weird some are well liked. You’re never too old to Transition. Moe is this impossible to achieve thing in the first place, mostly this is fear of aging and fatness, standard dysphorias, plus gender stuff. Like if the story was about a young man the end result would be them crossdressing and trying to look more girlish. If an old woman then young girls would be glad to have someone into their interests. We will all get old someday and we must be ready not to hate ourselves though its really hard.
