Like, what even was this story? It felt so performative like it wasn't made for a queer audience, and the ending leads me to believe that actually might be the case.

This story so far has been so filled with different feelings, it saddens me they couldn't meet but it makes sense to happen as one might be scared to face the real self of the one you were imagining for so long.

I don't think meeting would necessarily mean this manga ending because there's still a lot they could learn about each other and perhaps explore the differences from their idealized S relationship selfs to their real personalities.

But on the other, she's just so grossly unprofessional that i can't believe she didn't get reported to company

Back in ch 61 we found out Kaoru had a breakdown and stopped eating when Shizuka broke up with her. I wonder if she's worried that Honoka will react in a similar way if she loses Elisha?

I'd love if we get an entire chapter about Kaoru worrying about this and when Elisha does leave japan, Honoka is a bit bummed out but when she goes to check on Honoka in her room she is happily drawing and video calling Eli. and then Kaoru feels like an idiot for thinking her sister was that fragile.

You know what would be fun? Even if that didn't happen I wish someone would make a doujin about it.
If I get my art skills up, I might actually do it.
