While it hasn't been a super consistent piece of visual imagery, there have been a few instances in earlier chapters. The original text uses つやつや (tsuyatsuya), which can apparently be translated as "glossy; bright; slick". Taking the latter meaning then it could also imply that there's a sheen of sweat (or moisturiser) adding a literal glow to the figurative glow from the afterglow.

This manga is truly the GOAT of yuri, the author actually develops the storylines and takes them in unpredictable directions when she could easily do what every other series does and leave it in limbo forever until the last chapter. The Nanao plot actually had a payoff but instead of the predictable couple route Asumi turned her down and it went in this fwb direction with Nanao starting to get into brothels too with lots of room for fun twists and development. In any other manga Mai would never be found until the end but they actually met and thenit went it went in an unexpected direction for the genre and Asumi is also realizing that she actually likes meeting all the brothel girls and doesn't want to give up her hobby just because she met Mai.

I fully believe in the harem route and I'm all for it

No, unfortunately. On the first one, they (accidentally?) had the censor bars on a separate layer essentially. So, all I did was delete them and the image underneath was intact. This time the censoring is baked into the image, so it can't be removed so easily.
