Haha, poor Mitsuki.
Maybe she should go back to the Fleetwood Mac-type band. They didn't seem to do too badly for themselves ;)

In fact I can't think of a girl in any manga I think looks as good as her.

I know, right? I'm not sure exactly why I'm more attracted to her than any other 2D character I've ever seen in an anime or manga, haha.

Hinoka is really a treasure.

Still gross, but okay I guess.
Truthfully, unless they continued this "I hate you" game into the rest of their lives, I can't see an actual real relationship resolution in this?

Elsa said her hand was hurt, and despite being the perpetually horny one, still acted all shy and made Evie do all the work.

I dunno, I'm happy Sorawo finally realises the truth, but why is only Toriko allowed to be sad? Why is Sorawo supposed to do all the effort of trying to meet her halfway, while she has all that history and baggage from her past that are clearly affecting who she is as a person and how she behaves. She is litterally traumatised from her past experiences and this affects everything she does, thinks and feels. And Toriko is the one we should feel bad for because her crush doesn't reciporate her feelings. Get the fuck out of here. If you actually love someone, you don't force them to love you back. Like, if you notice your crush gets uncomfortable whenever you try to make a move, lies, avoids you, you should know something is wrong, and if you truly love them, you would try to figure out what is going instead of getting angry or sad about it. It feels Toriko thinks she entitled to Sorawas love.

You're very angry and fixated on the idea that no one should "push their feelings" onto person who suffers from trauma, and the person suffering from trauma shouldn't "meet them halfway".
Despite her trauma, Sorawo should absolutely meet Toriko halfway, whether she sees her as just a friend or as a potential lover. Sorawo has to understand her own feelings, but she's also got to help someone else understand her feelings if she wants them to stay in her life. No relationship can just stay as it is forever.

It's also important for Sorawo to come to terms with her feelings, and with other people's feelings. She doesn't have to live in trauma forever just because she has it, she can overcome her past.

Well, it was the return of talking about the villainess system. But I really want it to come back again. Not to stay, I want it to be properly resolved, not just the handwavy, 'oh, the future Elsa blocked it'.

Next level switch - switching it up right in the middle.

pfft, no. Pick Matsuri.
Passive-aggressive people are the worst, she'll never know how to make Komaki happy, and any little thing she does is going to cause a fight.

Neither thought process makes any sense at all, even for messed up teenage girls.

Why would she have PTSD, though? What Sorawo went through is no big deal; it's a fairly common story, really.

This comment is hilarious to me. Are you also disassociated from the real world? - although this time, because of too much fiction. Characters in stories frequently go through a lot of trauma that's just depicted as NBD normal because of the particular story they're in. In real life ... not so much.

I guess every single reader knows what the suggestion is gonna be, huh?

Wakana is nothing if not consistent.

And that's why we love her.

Gotta love a character who is just like, screw rules, we're going to take this all the way.

"All of you are forgetting the most important part."
Ha, yes, consent.
"... the autore fruit."
Dang, almost had it.

LOL! This was my exact thought process in that scene.

She's such a horndog, but also so innocent at the same time.

I admire Sensei's iron will, it must be disappointing when Mei doesn't take seriously that her job is on the line.
...But how long will that iron will last if there's jealousy.

Lol. That meme at the end. But Karasuma did say that she was there for reconnaissance, not to fix anything.

Am I really the only one that thinks the writing in this series is kind of bad? It's just contrived plot devices one after the other; first, the administrator system that was used to progress the characters' relationship, only to now be explained away with this timeline convergence. And I don't even think it would be this bad if they didn't decide to introduce this utterly silly "restorative-capacity" meter (here's a reason not to watch Steins:gate, I guess).

I don't really care that much because I never took this series all that seriously. I just found it surprising that nobody here seems to be sharing my urge to eyeroll in this chapter.

I'm just confused as to what story you thought you were reading? How is it bad writing if the point of the story - i.e. that this is a game and has a pre-determined plot - continues to do what it's supposed to do? The things you've pointed out are just obstacles to the goal: to change the story.

giving Diana a consolation love interest

Frankly, as someone who was immediately happy when I saw Alexandra being presented as a genuine love interest, over Diana continuing to pine after Natori... I'd say she turned out to be much more than that.

She's not just there to console Diana, or be consoled by her. Her role as a noble forced to suppress her talents and obey authority, being a pawn in larger schemes, while also joining a group of commoners, gives her one of the most complex character positions in the series, possibly second only to Lapis.

She also creates a bridge between nobles and commoners that the original Fairy Tale of Jewels didn't have, since Diana was the only one in that position. Alexandra "siding" with her own team at the end matters a lot - I can easily picture that, if Lapis' plan succeeds and a rebellion occurs, Alexandra, and possibly some other lower ranked nobles, might side with the commoners, shifting the balance (and story) quite a bit.

Oh, and yes - I'm definitely rooting for Diana x Allie. But Alexandra has also grown into my favorite character, and I hope she continues to be more than just "the love interest". Based on this arc, it feels like she absolutely will be.

Also, her character design is just perfect. She's not there just to be a background character.

Mitsuki you're literally dating--it's okay to grin about your girlfriend ya doof!

Are they dating though? They sure don't act like it.

All of the other characters are treating them like they're dating, so I have no idea why the comments are doubting it, you get this far into a story that has to be subtle because there are only a few pages per chapter, and you want them to waste time going "wait are we dating?" "yes, we're dating".

They're dating.

I love that basically all of us are like, I hate this, keep going.
We're just like Wakaba.
Like some others, I can't help but wonder if the writer did this on purpose at all? It's so hard to tell. Is it stupid on purpose, or just stupid? Whatever it is, it's got us all hooked.

Good to see Diana getting some other support.

If only her support wasn't also trying to ruin our OTP.

That's ... it?

While I admire they just faked us out with the rushed "everything is solved" ending, the ending was just status quo, like, work out for yourself how this turned out.

Okay.

I'm confused about this conclusion. We literally met the prince when he was Yvonne's fiance? Do you think he ... magically changed into a girl?
