This is probably going to be a relatively short manga, because I've read another LN by the original author recently (Did You Think My Yuri Was Just For Show?) and it was wrapped up in a single volume. It was a fun little book and surprisingly detailed about the VA industry (although I'm unsure of the accuracy), and the characters had some nice roundness to their character despite the short length. Asakura does seem to forget we only get the MC's POV in these things, tho. Like in that LN, the love interest was definitely bffs with the MC by the time of the confession, but we have no real reason for why the LI said yes to it other than it's required for a happy ending. It was jarring in a book where at least part of the anxiety was "I'm falling for a straight girl oh no".

I like how she's in denial about being into girls but seems to have dozens of copies of Monthly YuriYuri.

You know...This is not actually NTR since MC's childhood/best friend is not in a relationship or dating the random Student president guy...It kind of similar to NTR though. The correct term would be BSS. If they were dating and MC had stolen her childhood friend away from the student prez or stolen the student prez away from her childhood friend then yes 100% NTR.

BSS (Rare term used by some characters in manga/ sub-genre of NTR like situation)- refers to a situation where someone is jealous or upset that someone else ended up with someone they had a romantic interest in, but the jealous party has no actual claim or right to be upset. (Example like 2 close childhood friends but one of them either a girl or boy ends up dating someone else later due to the other not confessing and keeping their feelings hidden.)

(bokuga sakini suki datta no ni), translates to "I liked them first" or "I liked them before". It describes a feeling of jealousy or resentment when someone else gets the person you were interested in, even though you had no relationship with them.

No one probably fking cares but eh...This is for those who want to know the proper correct accurate term to describe this situation.

Now thoughts on the 1st chapter...I really really just hope MC just does the silly seduction route for her friend instead of any very very questionable sexu@l harassment/touching stuff/situation happening even while her friends is protesting against it and being uncomfortable....Hopefully MC's best friend/childhood friend is actually Bisexual instead of just 100% pure straight...Because then MC can only give up or go down the dark corruption route...We can only wait for 2-3 more chapter to see where the author will choose which route MC will go.

She didn’t even know what the term for what she was doing was. I bet she doesn’t even know how lesbian sex would work. Yes there is a depiction of them on a bed with them half naked saying “make Nene’s body…” but I think that’s an idea of what could happen after al the romantic gestures. Because that manga “Pleasure NTR” was only showing swooning romantic things. She’ll ramp up yes, but only after seeing success with the romantic things like KABEDON and saving her with her karate. I like toxic yuri. And while I'm not particularly a fan of NTR and NTR adjacent content, it is a common feature of toxic yuri, so I've built up a decent tolerance for it.

If it does go down the NTR route, it will be "Netori" and not "Netorare", which is much easier for me to handle. Netori is from the POV of the one who does the "stealing" of the partner, whereas Netorare is from the POV of the one who has their partner "stolen from" them (with a focus on the emotions they feel as a result).
