Upload so fresh it doesn't even have the author's name attached to it (will write a proper comment after reading)

"Lesbians are not good with communication" is just a trope and not a real thing, right?

I love Yodokawa's oneshots, this one may be one of my favorites now

I was so attached to MC's art career journey too. At least she was happy with Saitou in the end.

Also, is the Pixiv for the mangaka right? I went there and it felt like a diff art style and only 1 follower.

A toast for her future as monster designer. If she keeps modelling the monsters after Saitou, she could make a SMT/Persona game boss lol

"Most people are not good at communicating their feelings" is not a trope, unfortunately, but a harsh reality. That's why romance fiction is all over this topic...

I felt my blood pressure rise when I thought from the way things were phrased that Saitou was holding back her career but I'm glad it wasn't the case lol

This one isn't specific to lesbians but a general clumsiness at expressing yourself, which is very true. But also as a lesbian I had been spending time with my crush alone for hours every week sharing a hobby when she's invited me to that and I didn't think much of it for a very long time so it is also true that lesbians are very bad at communication.

ah yes ~ Office ladies and lesbians—can't go wrong with that :) Another great oneshot by Yodokawa.

I can definitely relate to trying way too hard to project a certain image, only to end up giving the wrong impression in the end :P At least they got to have an open hearted conversation and to clear everything out, that sadly doesn't always happen in real life ! Feels like this might be the beginning of an actual romance between these two, I'd sure like to see them a few months down the line.

This is power harassment. Saitou got her the job, then started putting the moves on her with the implication that her position and advancement in the company were contingent on sexual favors. Luckily this wasn't entirely the reality, but still, I feel like if Saitou were a man everyone here would be calling them a creep...

she is more likely to flirt with girls, but i doubt the story is actually making Saitou as some one that beds the women in the company LOOL, you are not realistic, how many bloody bi and gay women do you think the company has? all of them? also this is a gaming company, the ratio for men vs women is small, i doubt she had sex with any one of them LAMO, more likely her flirty personality made the rumors go wild

Pft. Of course, we're great at communication! Look at lesbians in science, business, or the media. Leading teams, speaking at conferences, driving innovation. You name it, we communicate it.

Oh... You mean about each other; things like having feelings for one another and such... Did I mention that I really like Yodokawa in terms of realistic portrayals, even if they feel somewhat too optimistic at times?

Miscommunicate to the wrong person at the wrong time and they could be murdered so yes it very much is real lmao

my mind absolutely went there but the implication never came from the superior herself and only the circumstance. she was fully shown to be professionally supportive, and also flirty by nature to no ill effects elsewhere. it's a thin line in reality but I wouldn't call creep here

Agreed. My least favorite work in the series.

I think I'd generally agree with this
