To be fair, there's a lot of staring in this. Anyone looks me in the eye for more than two seconds and I think they are planning my downfall.

Tbh, Incest wouldn't be uncharacteristic for Tima. That said, I don't think I've ever read a yuri manhwa, manhua, webtoon, or any other webcomic with incest in it (other than maybe one with stepsisters and another with incestuous sexual assault). Considering the rarity of incest in the medium, just seems that the market demographic aren't really into that kinda stuff so it would be odd just from that standpoint

I fail to see how Seungha taking her apple, giving her milk she didn't like and grabbing her hand are bullying. She was just an annoying kid at worst, and nothing we have seen so far compares to "pulling hair/shoving down".

I fail to see how that is not bullying. Of course, it largely depends on whether that was something that was happening repeatedly (which it seems to have been?) or not. However, is someone —who is merely an acquaintance and not a friend/family member— taking your food without your permission anything other than bullying? As the person who you're quoting said, that is exactly the equivalent to the typical "he's just teasing you because he likes you, that's how boys act" mentality, which I think really needs to die sooner rather than later. Handwaving behaviours like that as simply "annoying", when the actual person in question is bothered by them, is exactly what encourages them to continue.

(please excuse my rant, I tend to get worked up when I'm tired)

I totally agree with the gist of your argument—I think this series intends to be way fluffier than many people here have been taking it.

Just because a series intends to be fluffy, it doesn't mean that it comes off as such.
That said, I don't agree with the people who say that Chaeyeon was only very uncomfortable and stressed during their interactions, since she is clearly attracted to Seungha. I think mostly she's confused and uncomfortable because her attraction is clashing with the image of the bully she had from when they were kids.

God, I can kind of see it both ways, like either Seungha knows exactly what she's doing, or she's nothing but good intentions and has no idea of the conflict inside Chaeyeon's head.

I really feel like she has no idea. Just like when the were in elementary school, I think she's "teasing" her, without realising that she hadn't really left the best impression to Chaeyeon. Even when she asks "Do I make you feel uncomfortable?", she's completely satisfied with the answer and doesn't seem to pick up on Chaeyeon's quite uncomfortable expression...

As for the last chapter:
I thought they were supposed to "cook and eat together while making conversation", so how come they barely exchange three sentences?! Lol

For all we know Chaeyeon was telling the truth about not adjusting well. I mean, she did think that person in elementary was a guy. Finding out said person is actually the hot woman coming onto you would shock me too.

We will upload that chapter here eventually but there's also no text in it and Tima made it so that you don't need to have read the series to see it. That said. The series' story is supposed to build up the romance to that chapter so the choice is your's whether you wish to wait patiently or check it out immediately

If you are speaking of the last bit of dialogue in the chapter, Seungha is quite clearly having trouble recovering from what Chaeyeon just said and it’s a wonder the conversation is still going. It looks like she is trying not to tear up and cry.

As far as telling her how she really feels, Seungha has been really bold already. If saying she is interested hasn’t worked so far, I am curious what she is going to say that WILL get through to Chaeyeon. But first Chaeyeon is going to need to explain more unless Tima has Seungha read minds next chapter (because in so many years since what Seungha seems to remember is not the milk or apples, but her big gay crush and probably needs a refresher course on how fourth grade level flirting can be incompetent).

Yeah probably didn’t see it’s didnt see it as anythin but playful fun, but clearly left Chaeyeon with conflicted feeling over Seungha’s seductive behavior being different from the boyish appearance and act in the past. Glad there’s a confrontation here but poor Seungha.

In my opinion this is what makes the previous chapters, the discomfort, the teasing, all of it hinged on this. A moment where intentions are made clear and it is shown that Seungha doesn't mean to make Chaeyeon uncomfortable and did so unintentionally. The friction getting release and now some good drama ensues

I understand this, I'm just venting some frustration because her being roundabout has led to her crush of many years thinking she hates her. I'm sure I'll come around if she explains herself next chapter or so, but right now I feel like despite her having a difficult time this is an important conversation, and she needs to finally make her intentions clear.

I think people are being thrown off somewhat by the unusual pacing of this webtoon--it tends to use more panels per scene for exposition and reaction shots than is often the case, so each installment amounts to only a fraction of the plot/action of even a more standard webtoon chapter (which themselves tend to be short by manga standards).

The two of them really haven't had much time for private interactions together until this chapter (a chapter featuring a meeting which Chaeyeon seemed rather anxious, or at least determined, to attend).

This chapter does a lot to explain the prior emotions of the two leads. Chaeyeon has been uncomfortable since she thinks Seungha is just toying with her again and hates her. Meanwhile Seungha is just honestly trying to seduce Chaeyeon, not realizing that it’s coming across as a way of manipulation and bullying.

Hopefully this will lead to more communication and clearing of the past. I think Chaeyeon will still need some time to process that the actions in the past weren’t meant to be mean, and come to see Seungha in a better light.

Anyone knows how many chapters that the sensei has already completed? Both Japanese and Korean? It looks like 42, which means the nice person who translated it is some 35 chapters behind.

THIS manhwa / manga is the very first that I read that the drawing is ridiculously beautiful that there is very little need to have any conversations. It is almost like a silent movie.
