Wasn't super digging the first chapter, it felt like it kinda glanced over everyone being aggressive and violent, but this chapter was better. Hopefully more of this and less "Rawr I'mma drown this girl we summoned to this world because she's being annoying and asking wtf is going on"

Also to add my two cents to the idea, this is obviously a trans manga. Duh. She says she wants to be a woman. She also internally refers to herself as a man. These are not mutually exclusive things. This is someone who wants a thing and believes its out of her grasp. This is a very common trans thing. I've heard countless stories of trans women who are like "god I wish I was a woman. Couldn't be me tho, im a dude" ans get so hyper focused on it until finally something breaks through YEARS later like "oh I can just be a woman"

Now whether this is transphobic is another conversation, but I will save all judgement on that until we get more chapters. As I said, I'm side eyeing it. Just cause a manga is trans doesnt mean it cant be transphobic. There was that one trans manga where the girl transitioned just so she could date her cousin. That was FILLED with awful stuff. But again, saving judgement.

I just meant with this premise. There's another series where the protagonist "sees love" and it ended in poly and it was very unsatisfying imo. I can appreciate poly when done well but when it stems from a love triangle like this it often feels stilted and unnatural, they try to say haha look their love triangle turned into loving each other but it just feels like a cheap out without substance or nuance poly deserves.

Those tags scared the hell out of me. Usually this kinda thing would just upset me, but the assurances that the ending is more uplifting than you'd expect helped me check it out.

It was good! Very sad and emotional at points. But good. This manga didnt shy away from anything, but handled it really well, I think. I especially loved how Yuuki was handled!

I've never seen public opinion on a manga turn as much as it did with this one. Y'all were seriously savage against this. It didn't quite live up to its potential, in my opinion, but y'all were HARSH.
