about Doumyou - she honestly thinks that Tazune is a good guy and from her point of view Midori had started relationship with him only after she confessed her interest. more so, she thinks that Midori just leeches off. And now, she sees Midori not just cheating - cheating with a woman, what, beside the obvious homosexual stigma, is "sneaky" because it is easier to play off as "just a friend". I think most people would think that making the photo is the right thing to do.
What really would be the determining factor whether Doumyou is shitty person or not is what she will do after.

The artstyle literally makes this manga seem so animated it's so unique, I'm having mixed feelings about Tazune though. It was oretty obvious Midori just wanted to leave as soon as possible and I'm happy she will and can with Maki

Between his previous abuse and Midori having no warning, I suspect he will beat her until she, the baby, or both are dead. Partner abuse turning into murder is depressingly common in these kinds of circumstances.

Pretty glaringly obvious that now that Doumyou knows Midori is going off for a 3 day weekend that she'll be over to hop onto Tazune ASAP. Pretty sure Tazune is thinking the same. Cheating is easier than apologizing when you're nothing but a horny misogynistic coward after all. Whether Doumyou uses that picture now to "land" Tazune while Midori is away and unable to respond, or later--possibly for blackmail--we'll have to wait and see.

Question: Is Midori technically already married and they just haven't had the ceremony? I keep thinking of them as being engaged because she's planning their wedding, but I think that's my western brain filtering the story. When I think about it again, there's no need for any ceremony in Japanese culture. They just need to file the paperwork and they're married. The ceremony is purely ornamental.

At some point I expect that Midori will have the epiphany that she CAN have her cake and eat it too. She can be with the person she loves, who has always been Maki, AND have a family, thanks to her ex being a selfish jerk who doesn't think birth control is a thing and her being stupid (or lonely and desperate) enough to let him have sex with her. The question is how much more angst with the two of them need to go through before they reach that point?

I'm wondering if they're ever going to return from Komari's Island or if they're going to end up going back there when all is said and done. I also didn't realize that Maki hadn't met Komari in person...

I don't quite get the vitriol towards Doumyou, she's obviously gonna fuck Tazune, but whether she's so opportunistic that she'll out Midori to him, I dunno.
