I don't know for sure but it could be poor sales leading to the publisher axing it, or the mangaka is just bored/ran out of ideas.

As a person who was run over by a bycicle, I can tell you it's serious business. I ended up with a concussion and some bruises, but I was dizzy for two days and limping for another week or so.

Well, that was a big waste of time. I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed...

Well, that was underwhelming but I've read worse series with worse endings so I guess that counts for something.
It will definitely go down as one of those series that made me question why I read it in the first place
