I'm genuinely curious to see how more absurd it can become.

Same, I've given up on any emotional connection to this manga, just along for the crazy ride.

Remember when it was about two coworkers fucking?

This is actually good. I like how the girls aren't prisoners of the monogamous tenet. They are all sexfriends to each other and it's perfect that way.

(Forget the possible STDs: this is a manga, not reality)

I feel like I'm watching a porn.

I don't feel an heavy "porn" vibe here. It's ecchi, but the sex feels natural and not something that come straight of a hentai, with lots of fluids and ahegaos.

For all your supposedly open mind, you people are so... conservative.

Committed relationships are a cultural thing, not a natural one.

It's not conservative to think that media that pretty much just exists to depict sex acts is porn. Like that's literally what porn is. Just because it's not the gross over the top version you usually see that springs more from fantasy than from any actual understanding of sex doesn't mean it's not porn.

Also, wearing clothing and not just shitting in the middle of the street are also cultural things so what's your point here? Lots of cultural norms exist for good reason.

Started of like a chill ride, but now makes me wonder if this ride was mistake.
Makes me question life decisions and all, but the absurdity is so amusing that I can't avert my eyes from it. Just like a majestic accident that keeps on piling up, like the herd of sheep that jumped off a cliff in turkey.
Credits are spot on.

Comitted relationships are not a natural thing

This is the stupidest thing i've ever seen anyone type on this website and that says a lot.
Listen I've advocated for poly a lot on this site, go back in my post history and you'll find me talking about having two girlfriends but saying partners for life isn't natural is just denying science.

There are countless species of animals that bond for life with a single partner, there are also countless species that have harems of partners.
Humans on a general basis across history lean towards to former with some mixing that up with the latter a bit, it was highly common in older cultures to have a wife but also a lover for example.

First, I never said it's not porn. Don't twist my words. Depiction of sex acts for the viewing pleasure of others is porn, by definition. I just said it wasn't "heavy porn", by which I meant it wasn't as gross as the usual stuff around, because the characters are not overplaying it.

Second, your examples are flawed. They are both cultural customs tied to some places and time.Because western societies don't do this now, doesn't mean it's how it should be, has always been, or will always be.

My point is that according to time, place or community, there is nothing inherently wrong with women (or men) having sex with different partners.

But people here seem to be "angry" (for lack of a better word) because these women don't commit to a single partner and diss this manga because of it.

I just find it strange.

Nah there's no moral problem with it, it's just WTF, very unrealistic (even more than mangas usually are), and badly written. Still kind of fun to read. (And I like erotic stuff)

It's not about the artistic depiction like fluids or ahegaos, it's about the character motivation. One of the characters is doing underage compensated dating prostitution and doesn't expect a woman, then goes and forces herself on her friend and tries to tell herself that it's not cheating while clearly looking remorseful and conflicted instead of happy and untroubled; said friend then gets BLACKMAILED into having sex with someone else. There's tons of cheesy "you say you hate it, but your body is being honest"/"she did that to me, but why do I feel so good...?" type of lines, because "it can't be rape if they enjoyed it!" logic, aka porn logic 101.

It doesn't matter if Kurogane's art style isn't lolis with cowtits and horsedicks and over-the-top o-faces, that's not what makes something "natural" or not. That's the same sort of thinking as "fantasy is inherently unrealistic because it's got dragons and magic", focusing on the aesthetics instead of on what actually makes something nuanced or not, which is the psychology of characters. It's porn because the co-worker just randomly starts to flirt with the characters for no reason other than that she "smells their similarities" and then instantly initiates sex, a classic porno move a la pizza guy opens the door and fucks the milf. Starting an OFFICE AFFAIR for no reason, without knowing the other person at all besides the fact that they work with you, is a ridiculous scenario. People complain about Mira's works for the "balloon tits", but, BDSM comedy ones aside, the characters actually know and like each other, which will always be far more natural than realistically drawn characters in unrealistic scenarios. This series can only be enjoyed if you don't take it seriously AT ALL. (aka how people enjoy PORN, at least usually) But if this is your idea of happy, consensual, casual sex, then yikes.

Committed relationships are a cultural thing, but you know what else is cultural? Consensual relationships, instead of in nature where one sex just forces themselves onto the other (or attracts them with... beautiful colors, objects, dances, etc. but never a winning personality) and then leaves the pregnant mate to give birth by themselves. Not everything in nature is superior to what we've artificially created.

Where the hell did I say that nature was somehow superior? Stop saying that I wrote that commitment is "not natural".

I just said that committed and non committed relationships do exist and that their respective value is contextual. You can't judge them on an absolute scale.

And even your example is flawed. The context of animals is vastly different from the context of humans. You can't apply them your moral values about "forcing a sexual relationship".

I like how the story (such as it now is) is turning into a sort of absurd domino chain of lesbian sexx0rz. It's like some bizarre yuri Rube Goldberg device.
