I actually enjoyed the somewhat rough artwork. Felt it matched the mood of the aspiring art student. Overall a positive for me.

Totally. Part of me wonders if she does it to mess with completing the painting (aka now she has to start over which means I get even more time with senpai).

...Nah, probably not. She's just a dumbass who's desperate to get senpai to notice her.

I loved this a lot. Maybe it's the "model falling in love with the artist" cliche, maybe it's the sudden "Oh, I'm gay. Dang, I guess I should tell her I love her." Reminds me of Kiri from Kindred Spirits on the Roof, with one of the best scenes in the whole game.

I really really liked this. Slow and atmospheric and serene...

And of course the art style was gorgeous!! (They drew the amazing nicotori doujins as I realized halfway through! No wonder I liked it aa) Really great read.

I get that oil paint smells weird (bad for most people) but, for some reason, I like it.

Given that it doesn't gets to a point where it's as overpowering as half a bottle of perfume that is...

I can see the appeal of that. Some people like strange smells. But when you do smell oil paint, make sure it’s not for too long as it’s toxic for you

It’s alright... a one shot with two characters. What I liked was the background set up showing a quiet campus with nothing going on for social events, the seclusion forcing students to focus on their studies. Her parents figured by exiling her off into the boonies might help her complete her degree. Evidently, they’ll get more than they expected once she returns with a degree and extra baggage. I’d like to see a sequel to this one shot.

I was actually expecting to see that the art senpai was a very incompetent artist and that the only reason she wanted to paint the short haired girl was to spend time with her. Still, it was a pretty nice story. I'd like to see more original stories from the artist in the future.
