I really scoured the Penacony storyline to figure out why this ship is so popular, so you can imagine my surprise when I reached the end of the story and realized they never interact a single time. Can't complain, though, it's cute.

There's a really fascinating soap opera progression to this manga, where every chapter has to escalate the situation. There always has to be some twist or some cliffhanger in every chapter. I'm not really sure where you go from here, but I'm in for it regardless. Admittedly, I've been approaching this series as more of a comedy than a drama, just because Yuni is so comically inept in her selfishness. "Ah yes, I will bring this manipulative stalker that I have been cheating with to clear things up with my girlfriend. Surely this cannot possibly end poorly."

"I just don't UNDERSTAND what LOVE is" is such a boring cliche in yuri. It's just a way to pad out the will-they-won't-they while still letting the primary couple do couple things together. I guess they got over it pretty quickly here, but it always makes me groan when it rears its ugly head.

Nanase (I'm speaking strictly about character in manga) is still immature and totally not ready for a girlfriend and relationship. Unconsciously she is even humiliating Asahina and it returns to her as NTR boomerang Asahina-Fuuko relation

I think she needs serious slap of reality for personal growth as a character, or she will not move anywhere, nor improve ever.

I approve everything between Asahina and Fuuko.
Even if it hurts Nanase, it will be good for her development. She is sheltered, spoiled and self-centered, and she needs something shocking to wake her up.
I think she is not deeply connected to Asahina to be hurt really badly.
They are somehow mismatch, in my opinion.
Personally I feel deeper connection and understanding between Asahina and Fuuko, as starting point for real relationship between them.
And I simply love that tsundere-yandere dynamic between them!

I'm very curious to see the way how author will shift all the characters and see further development of situation.
