The only thing I don't like about this is the obsessive/clingy childhood friend
It bothers me how much that specific archetype is ripped off directly from others. Everything else can be derivative and shallow and I don't care...but this seems so arbitrary. Or rather, formulaic.
While I definitely have seen better "childhood friend" characters, wouldn't it be more of a trope to have the childhood friend be the straight man for Minori's shenanigans? I will give this series a chance, let's see if the setup of "ditzy girl with even more crazy childhood friend" does at least lead to good 4-koma jokes.
